 Happy Halloween!

Our pumpkin scene was a little smaller this year. But the kids did well with it. Bummer i missed a shot with me, but at least we got the kids :)
Halloween morning, Max woke up and wrote a letter to the Great Pumpkin!
I got with one kid in our Charlie Brown shirts
 Homemade Pumpkin Pizza
and naturally you work on setting up the xmas decorations on halloween night, right ? ;)

Halloween fun and the sky

We have witnessed some awesome sunrises and sunsets in the last couple weeks. These are just a couple that i have taken.
Cole hanging out in the hallway..this is a common thing these days. They now have a doggie door thanks to my sister and brother in law, so they love being able to come in and out of the house at a whim.

The pumpkin Max grew at nanas house
 Cutest Packer Fan!
We took time to clean up the yard and garage. I need to get a few things back to the shop, Max decided to push the lawnmower allt he way back for me.
WE finally did pumpkins.. only two of the many.
All dressed up for trick or treat by Nana's house
Max and Nana handed out candy while Bella and I went on the hunt for candy

Our favorite stop is Miss Courtney's house to play with the bird.

This was so sweet. max wanted a sleep over in the living room, but Bella didn't want to sleep ont he couch, so they had one in Bella's room. Both kids fell asleep looking at books.  Love these two so much!

Stonefield and Apples

So we turned around the next weekend and traveled back down to Grant County.  We arrived first up to visit our favorite locations in Lancaster before heading to Great Grandma's house.
we stopped at Dicks to get food and Max got to ride Porpy. we discovered Bella is just too big :(

The kids love playing in the rocks at Great Grandmas
Baby time!!
Eric loved playing with all the kids and they loved playing with him

There we meet up with the family, including some cousins and grandparents we didn't' see the weekend before. It was warm enough that we spend time outside until the food came out and we got unwanted visitors, BEES. So we went inside and hung out catching up with everyone, before we got ready to change into our costumes for STONEFIELD!

Stoneyfield was a blast. We thought we were going to get rained out, but only got  a couple of drops. The kids did well, even max who didn't want to go.  We also enjoyed the time with our extended family. Traditions are so important in many ways

Sunday morning, a very rainy morning, we set out to visit Gays Mills and the apple orchards. So not the best day to go, but we were still able to do pretty much all the stuff we always did.  I'm glad i had the kids mud boots with!

While we loved being with family and traveling, it was nice to get home. The kids got home, while i put stuff away they played so well together. The puppies also missed us. :)
