A long weekend!

n Well this is my first day since friday to sit down and really blog. It's been crazy busy!
First update on Grandpa. He suffered a stroke which left him having some problems iwth his speech. He's already made a great recovery while in the hospital so we are hoping for a full recovery with some added therapy.
Then let's see our weekend: Firday night My mom came down to watch Bella so that josh and I coudl have a date night. We went to Girlfriends "biggest bar in stitzer" and then to the fireworks. We took the harley, something i haven't ridden since the summer before Bella. Supper was good and cheap. Gotta love bar food that way. Then we took the long way to the fireworks since we had time to kill. It was nice. The fireworks were good. Not the best but good.
Saturday we had a long day. Mom stayed and watched Bella in the morning and afternoon so that Josh and Icould go visit Grandpa in the hospital. I forgot to mention on friday Bella finger painted for the first time and made pictures . One was for Grandpa. Josh and I also had to go target to get a wedding present..oops. Josh also had to get new dress shoes as he broke his.
So after the visit at the hospital, where it was really nice to see Grandpa and see for our own eyes he was doing well, we headed to Joe and Kelly's wedding. They had a beatuiful wedding and everyone seem to be crying or teary eyed. I wished we could have stayed longer but we had to get home to milk so we could make it on time for the supper. Mom left and josh milked and then it was time to head to the supper and dance part of the wedding. The food was excellent. We didn't really dance but Bella had a good time. She got to hang out with Greg again, too.
Sunday we ened up going to church we were got to see the whole Ihm clan again and then it was back home to wait for Nikki and Josh to come.
They got here and we grilled out. THen Josh and Josh took off for a farm tour and Nikki and I got to girl talk. That night Josh K help Josh W with chores. Unfortunalty Josh W had to go round bale, so the rest of us went out ot supper and then jsut chilled in the house. After Josh got home and Bella was to bed we had a bonfire and s'mores.
Monday Josh and Josh went to fence while us girls chilled in the house and played wii. it was nice to have someone to play wii with. Once they left Bella and I headed to Platteville. Then we ended up hanging outside with daddy in the barn.
Today has been a lazy day!

Friday, June 26

What a week!

Sorry for lack up dates. I think the heat has taken over and we ahve been pretty busy.
Tuesday we spend the morning hanging out with daddy and getting ready to leave for watertown. Bella go to play in her pool in the morning. then we went to help daddy get the cows in and Bella and me got a boo-boo from Cole. Bella's ws only a scratch and no blood. Mine not so much.
We left around 1ish. Bella napped pretty good on the way there. Once we got to town we went to shopko to hang out in the air conditioning til Nana got done with work. Then we went to supper at Perkins since it was cool there too. Bella had a blast waving at everyone. Then we were off to visit Tori and Dylan. We hung out in her apartment for a bit. We got to meet Eli and Bella loved his keys. Then it was off to Dylan's t-ball game. He did a great job. It was so much fun to see the little kids play. Thank god we were in teh shade even though it was still like 100 degrees out there. Bella did really well so i was thankful for that.
Once we got to my mom's not so much. It was warm and bella was just not going to sleep. So it was a long warm night.
Wedensday we got up and ready for the day then went to walmart. Mom's house was getting to me. We walked aorund there til it ws time to head off to Hannah's house. we got to have fun playdate there with Ella. The girls are getting so big and starting to understand that there is another baby around. After that we headed back home.
Yesterday we had Greg, Bella's godfather and josh's best friend, visit. He's been away at school in Rome, Italy, so we haven't seen him since Bella's baptism. It was great to see him and Bella LOVED him. So it was a really good time since Bella enjoy hanging on him. we also hung out in the pool in the afternoon too. Bella enjoys the pool but would rather be able to go in and out of it when she wants too. which as of right now doesn't work to well.
Today Josh is gone for most of the day cuting hay and oats for a customer. But we got news about Great grandpa to bella and grandpa to me and josh. He's in the hospital in ICU or else bella and i would go visit him today. We are going to try to go tomorrow. So please say a little prayer for him.
