Let's wrap up January

We made it to the movies to see "Sing" with our friends. The adults enjoyed it more then the kids

Then it was mommy's turn to go out. Hit up Mamma Mia with friends! so nice for a kid free yummy meal.  But it was a late night.. i was so tried when i got home

Playing games.. i love not having a tv in the lviing room again because no one thinks about watching tv,, instead we play games and make our own entertainement

Did up Bella's hair for her poms pictures

Still got our cows

After being stuck in the house due to ice i finally got pictures up. Made it finally feel like home. I also cleaned which is something that i seem to be lacking at. So i grabbed some pictures

Pep rally at school..so we all wore our SJB stuff.

Dress up fr all school mass. I was after this that my poor little girl was miserable. Monday morning she threw up ont he way to school. Then felt find the rest of the day. Tuesday made it to school for an hour before she got sent home for a fever. The fever only climbed until Wed when i took her in to find out she had influenza. Poor girl missed all of catholic schools week. It made for a struggle to keep Max away and the rest of us healthy.

Iced in

So the ice arrived and didn't want to leave. We ended up with two days off then went to school for two days and had another day off.
I spent a lot of time getting work done.

We played with just about everything in the house.. so much time trapped inside so we got out the wii

Ice anyone?

My kids playing so well together

I got some pictures up on the wall

A week!

We have lived in the house for one week. A lot has happened in that week, or should I say we have learned and felt a lot of things.
Our first night in the new house.. family picture by the fireplace. Still cant' use it but it's pretty. Josh would have loved it.

The next day we woke up to snow! Lots of snow! The kids loved it. They got to play outside. I learned that i can clear snow with the skidsteer, but i will need to hire someone for the big snowfalls. Also i need an extra shovel..one for the garage area and one for the patio.

Our pretty house!  I learned you can see our house from pretty far away. I'm eager for the trees to grow leaves so it's not as easy to see.

Our first cooked meal.. Mac and Cheese. I learned we have a lot of noodles and my kids love Mac and cheese. We had it the next night too. Also Max rotates his spot, Bella always stays in the same and we always leave one empty.

The kids love the downstairs to play. We are learning we have a lot of toys and figuring out we don't need them all. I also learned i need another rug, i thought i had three.

The stuff left to unpack! It seems endless, as i unpack a box and there is like three more in it's place. I have been trowing away stuff and making a donate pile. Missing is the shelves i have to place stuff on that is only uses here and there. I'm slowing filling up those, so hopefully we wil have order down here soon. Also xmas gifts are mixed in..that will help to remove those too :)

Laundry room.. I've learned that i love doing a load a day. It's easier to keep up that way. Also love the pantry to keep a lot of stuff out of the kitchen.

The Great room. This space is where we spend most of our time. THe kids love to play in front of the fireplace and we are decorating for christmas!
Prayers in Max's bed. He's slept one whole night, and two half nights in his bed. The rest havebeen with me.

The first sunrise at our house. I love our view

This is how his room is. Random toys out. his room will be last to organize as he messes it up the quickest

This child.. loves her bedroom so much. Only problem is is has 100 blankets and needs them all on her bed! She has been sleeping great until last night, when she had a nightmare at 4am..then both were up before the sun.. guess i should upgrade to a king size bed! Bella's room needs work on hanging pictures and her closet or else it's pretty well set

Love the lived in look of these pictures.. real life here :) Mine room is the loneliest. I can't figure out what pictures i want up were, so ti will wait while. I also have to locate my nails. i think Josh might not help me find those like he helps me to find other lost things. It took me a week to get my shower curtain rod and curtain up! So finaly a week in and i can use my own shower! The kids enjoy their bathtub,. It's smaller then the old one, but fills up much quicker.
A week in and i need to clean the house already. Go figure right? It still smells new though :)

Dec 2nd we passed the final inspection! Move in came Dec 3rd.  I didn't know who to ask for help moving and being decemeber i knew it would be hard to count on those who would have to travel, so when a local KC guy asked if we needed help, i took him up on it. It worked out great. They brought mean and trucks. I left Tracey, Della and Tori in the trailer while I went to the new house to start putting away. Too hard to pack it all up. Starting to unpack wasn't easy either. We manged to get the beds set up for Bella and Me. (max's was already done) The kitchen was set up as was the bathrooms. There is still a lot of boxes to go through and stuff to get out of the shop, so decorations that haven't come out since we left the farm! I'm excited to see those again.
