Seaworld was our day with out volunteers so most of the pictures are the animals.. we also didn’t do any “ride” there bc we were limited with time and we wanted more of a relaxing day.

Feb 12- Valentine’s School Party

Due to when Lent starts, Bella’s school moved it’s Valentine’s celebrations to Tuesday the 12th instead of the 14th. Her Teacher divided up the parents into three groups to help with the three holiday parties, I got Valentine’s day. So I along with three other mother’s set up and created a fun party for the kids. We had the kids make handprint cards, robot snacks and “kiss the frog” game. I didn’t get any game pictures as I was in charge of the game. It was a very fun morning. I also got to see how a day in Bella’s class works and see Bella in action. She was the calendar Person and very proud of her job. IT’s great to see her with her friends and having fun!

Dec 2nd–Christmas Party

On Sunday we had our Annual friends Christmas party. This year we did something a bit different and rented a room out to hold us all. It worked out great. I was so happy and some of the feed back I got agreed with me. The kids were able to run around, which they did a lot of, no one had to clean their house and we all cleaned up afterwards. The kids got horrible spoiled but had so much fun playing together. I’m glad they pretty much all get along. We did appetizers for lunch and then a cookie exchange. Cookie exchange lots of work but yummy reward!

So I got the kids pictures taken..well Bella came down with a cold that day.. and max the next day. Then he ended up with an ear infection..so they weren’t the best. But not to the photographer..just my cranky kids!

Christmas wrap up

Ok instead of trying to make two really long picture post, I made one cute photo album instead. :) We spend part of Christmas eve at Kara and Tony's celebrating Christmas with Josh's dad and siblings. We had a nice lunch followed by opening of gifts. Bella got to help pass out gifts and Max pretty much slept through it all. After that we got home in time to give Bella a quick 30 min nap before we went to 5:00 mass at church. It was so nice to go to our own church for a holiday mass. We ended up sitting with some friends who have a 1.5 year old and a baby Max's age. Bella did great since church was packed and we didn't get our normal seat. Once Church was over we headed home to celebrate our own Christmas. While the pizza cooked, we opened presents. Well Bella and Josh mostly opened them. I was busy feeding Max. He wasn't at all concerned with gifts. Bella got some great play food, clothes, books and toys. Her favorite was an Animal search book that I found for her. Max got some John Deere toys and Max and Ruby books. Josh got a deep fryer, tools he asked for and a new packer shirt. My big gift i got a couple months ago, but I got a new DSLR camera. The kids also did get some little things that i wanted like a new see-thru ruler and electric pencil sharper. The next morning, we got up bright and early and headed to my mom's house to celebrate Christmas with her and my sister. It was prefect traveling weather, we are very thankful for that. Once again Max slept through most of the day. He did great in the car, too! Bella got a lot of nice new toys and clothes and loved opening gifts. The kids all got to play together and it was so nice to be able to visit with my sister and mom without worrying about what Bella was getting into. Josh was able to get a nap in too, which he really needed. It was such a relaxing and perfect day.

Combining

Bella and I went out with Josh while he was working on combining. Bella got her first ride in the combine and loved it! Bella also was very into what the combine was doing. She quickly figured out that the corn kernals were from the cobs that were left in the field. She loves playing in the corn too!
