So Saturday morning, as if we hadn't gotten enough presents the last two days, we decided to bring in the rest of the gifts for the kids to open. Most of these were family gifts, like games and dvd's. To be honset this felt more like christmas morning then the day before. It was super relaxed, we were all still in our pajamas. I think it helped that Josh got some sleep the night before or else he just took to heart what i said about just letting things go and make memories.

after opening all the gifts we had breakfast then let the kids just play. I worked on putting stuff away and deep cleaning out my closet. I managed to get rid of a bunch of stuff and pulled stuff to pass on to the smaller people in our lives. Max stayed in his PJ's the whole day until about 4pm when we decided to run to Panera Bread in Jansville. We had been homebound all day and tired of eating leftovers. We also then braved going to Walmart to do some grocery shopping on the way back through Jefferson. The kid did great at eating out, Walmart not so much, but they were just antsy and near bedtime.
Sunday we headed off to church at 1030am, somehow that's our mass now. We use to not like that one since it just isn't at a good time, kills your morning an then suddenly it's lunch and naptime. But with choir we have gone to that one more and even without choir we've ended up at that time. Max was pretty funny at church. Actually he's at that great age of saying really cute or funny things. I should tape him more because sometimes you just have to laugh at what comes out of his mouth.
Quotes by Max:
While we said the Apostles creed, Max say "hey that's Bella's prayer" We are helping Bella to learn that prayer so we say it every night at bedtime. Max won't say it with us, but awesome that he knows what we are saying
While singing "Silent night" Max proclaims "this song makes me so happy" Since he knows it and sung it at his Christmas concert he thought the song was just for him.
We got home from church and found out that Grandma Della, Tim and Uncle ben were on there way to Madison. We were meeting them there to hand off the kids and then Josh and I were going to a date lunch at Red Lobster. We stayed home long enough to get the kids a mini lunch, Josh a heating pad and me to use the bathroom.
We got to madison and gave the kids to Grandma Della and we headed into Red Lobster for a yummy lunch. Lunch is a much smarter time to go as we had more choices, less of a wait and spent less ;)
We then stopped at bed bath and beyond and target looking for a pillow for Josh to help him sleep. They didn't have anything so we ended up coming home and ordering one online.
We visited for a bit with our baby sitters ebfore they headed back home and it was time to get the kids ready for bed.
