So Saturday morning, we all got up bright and early. Josh had to work 6 hours overtime , Max went to Nana’s and Bella and I went to meet up with my sister. We were all going to Sara’s cheer competition. Bella was begging to go and see sara perform again since the last time we went. We had a great time and Sara’s team won first place, meaning they were going to state
Note bella’s bow. She got a real cheer bow, granted it was only a practice one, but it was bigger then any of her other bows.
We then got home in the afternoon and decided to let the kids enjoy the warmer temps outside. I also had to tell the kids the bad news. I found someone with a bigger farm and more area for the goats. It was a tough choice to make, but I just felt so bad for them as they couldn’t stay with the cows because they just ate too much feed, not to mention they would climb in the hay feeder and then use it as a bathroom, so then it was wasted feed. In order to keep them out, the cows wouldn't be able to get their head in either. Also I knew this spring and summer we wouldn’t be able to let them run free if we wanted a garden. They proved to use that they can get out of most collars so tying them up didn’t work either. I found a guy who has a couple other goats and a farm where he uses the goats to keep the brush down in the pastures and woods. We loved them, but I think they will be happier doing what they love to do (eat) and being able to be free. Also they went to better shelter and running water.
So we went to hang out with the goats, love them up and get some pictures of the kids with them. I told Bella maybe in a few years when we have a better set up we can get some smaller goats again.
