just wanted to update you all on how little Isabella is doing. Currently she's very fussy from her shots today at her 6 month check up. At her check up today she was 27.5 in long and 17lbs 6.4oz. The doctor gave her a clean bill of health. We were also given the ok to slowly work in the same foods we are eatting at meals to Bella's diet. Our next appointment isn't until 9 months, and that one is shot free. :) Bella really loves her baby food. She loves pea, sweet poatoes, squash, carrots in that order and somewhere at the bottom of her list is apples pears and bananas. We are also eatting two meals a day, currently. We also have started to use a sippy cup. Bella is really good at getting it to her mouth, but we are still working on learning to tip it up to get the liquid out. In the last month, Bella has made a few different trips to see family and friends. We are still a good car baby as long as we travel between meals. :) Bella also got to meet her first little friend, who's about 4 months younger than her. At first she wasn't sure what to make of the baby, but I think in some way they were communicating with each other. It was really nice to see another baby, even if Bella looked very big next to the little baby. Bella is also much better at rolling over both ways, even though she's not a fan from her tummy to her back. She's starting to get the idea of crawling by putting her leg up under her, but she doesn't care to push up on her arms. She can move all over when on her back. She big into reaching for toys and putting them directly into her mouth. there doesn't seem to be much of a dely anymore. She also knows which toys she really likes and how they are suppose to go into her mouth. She's assoicating things too, as in she knows where she normally gets feed her bottle and baby food. when the bib goes on she knows food is coming. She knows the steps to making her bottle and where Mommy sits to feed her. She gets very mad when we do something out of order. Which has it's good points and bad. :) We are sleeping through the night now, from 8pm til about 7am. we do sometimes wake up but only becuase our nuk fell out of her mouth. we are still eatting a bottle about every three hours during the day and on a good day we get two 1.5 hour naps. Our first tooth has not made it in yet, we are hoping sometime soon as you can tell she is teething. We are looking foward now to the warmer weather and are trying to get back outside more, as Bella loves to hang out in the barn. I've added a bunch of new pictures and working on adding some video to Bella's website warpinski.shutterfly.com. if you aren't a member i totally recommend joining shutterfly, you can get some great free prints.
