My baby is growing up. Seems like yesterday I was pregnant with her and waiting her arrive. Now she is hear and she lets everyone know it.
Height and Weight: 29.8lbs fully dressed and 3 feet 1/4 inches with shoes on
Talking: Bella just in the last two weeks started putting two words together, Beach ball, Big Frog, Base Ball, I drink, My Milk are a few. She doesn’t like to say “Please” and a word though. She has so many words that she can say. Just last weekend we were with her cousins and they seemed to understand her pretty well. She can also count to 10, normally a number or two. She still doesn’t say her ABC’s by her self, but seems to start to recognizes them in print.
Foods: Bella is pretty picky these days. IF she doesn’t get what she wants how she wants it, that’s it, she is done. When she does eat, she is a good little eater. She love yogurt, especially go-gurt that she can do all by herself. She likes to have cereal if someone else is, and lucky charms is her favorite. She loves to dip everything in any type of dip. Apples, grapes, strawberries, peaches and blueberries are her favorite fruit but she also loves watermelon and bananas. Her veggie favorite are hit or miss, other than CORN. She does tend to enjoy Broccoli(thanks Tracey), potatoes, carrots, and peas. Most of these need to be fresh and not cooked for her to eat them. Meat is hit or miss. Sometimes she likes it other times she won’t even touch it. It doesn’t matter what time of meat it is. She loves her Milk and now Juice. :( which means she doesn’t ever seem to want water, so i think we are going to end juice unless it’s OJ and only that is in the morning. I should also mention she is really good with both a fork and a spoon, both adult sized and kid sized. She often request which one she wants. She also ask for a bib depending on what she is eating
Sleep: Bella sleep is ever changing. Some times she sleeps through the night and takes one three hour nap, Sometimes she’s up early (4 or 5 am) and takes two two hour naps in the day. It’s ever changing and i’m not 100% sure of the reason. but overall she does seem to get enough sleep.
Potty Training: so we started and hit two set backs, one a chafing/sore issue on her leg and then traveling. She was doing real well until we left for our mini vacation across the state. Praying next week we can get back in gear. She still stays pretty dry and knows when she is wetting. It’s our next goal to get down pat.
Activities: Bella loves to climb. I think she is part monkey. She also likes to pull herself up and hang on things. She also love to scoot along on her cars. She knows to push her feet on the pedals, but not one at a time. She loves the sandbox and the slide. She won’t slide down on her own if I'm around, but if I'm not looking she will do it or if we are at the park. She is learning how to swing on the regular swings and does pretty well if you don’t go to high. At home she still loves being outside with the cows, dog and cats. She knows most of the cats by name even. Being summer time, Bella loves water. We took Swimming lesson twice this year and the most recent ones tells me Bella is about done with Mommy teaching her how to swim.
Inside the house, Bella loves to play with her babies. She has three baby dolls of different sizes that she need to know where they are at. She also loves her animals( example) She will pull out books and sit in the chair or couch and read them. She loves to look through her books and defiantly has favorites. She also loves to read while sitting on the potty. We haven’t done much coloring in recent months due to the fact that Bella is a mini tattoo artist and often colors more on herself then the paper. She is good at circles and lines. Bella also loves her TV time. Her favorite shows are The Wiggles, Go Diego Go Dinosaur Train and TinkerBell. She also sometimes enjoys Max and Ruby, Sesame Street, Gullah Gullah Island and Wonder Pets
Bella has also be learning to help me cook and helping to clean up.Cleaning and putting away is much more interesting if it’s not her toys, but she will help with her toys if someone will sit with her and get it done.
She is a very energetic, fun loving, mostly happy, knows what she wants little girl. She’s shy around new people, espically men, but given the time she warms up to people. When she doesn’t like something she closes her eyes and pretends she’s not there. She even walks around like she is blind. Everyday is a new adventure with Bella. I’ve enjoyed the last two year with her and I can’t wait to see what year three will hold.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISABELLA MARIE!!!
