babies, weddings and parties

So Thrusday night started another adventure. WE leave home at 3:45 to head to Watertown. Naturally we were in rush hour traffic in Madison, but it just meant Bella got a longer nap. Our first stop in town was to visit Nana at work. Everyone loves a visit from Bella. Then we went to Pick N Save to get supper for Mommy and Bella. Then we hung out at Nana's house. We got to play with Taffy and Sammy, the two kittens that Nana took from our house. Also there is a bunch of toys there that Bella doesn't remember, so she's never bored there. :)
Friday was a crazy day! Bella manged to sleep in til 7:15am well seh got up at 5am but went back to bed. So we didn't get much of a morning nap. She went to run errands with Nana while mommy got ready for the day. Then we went for a play date with Ella and Hannah. The girls had a fun time playing with Ella's toys.
Then once we got done at Ella's, We headed back to Nana's wehre Nana feed Bella lunch and Mommy went for a hair cut. Once I got back , we meet up with Tori and headed off to Appleton for Tina and John's wedding. We made it just in time for the cermony, and got to hang out with Courtney, Andi Jo, Aunt Lou and Uncle Tony. IT was a fun time until it was clearly Bella's bed time. So off we went back home. Mommy had a great time talking and catching up with Tori.
Saturday, Aunt Tracey, Uncle Andy and the cousin came over. I took Elly shopping for her Birthday and Sara got her first real baby sitting job. We were all helping my mom do some fix projects around her house. Also we celebrated Elly's birthday and my sister getting her Master's.
Then after fixing things, trimming things, hanging things, taping things and painting things, I left Bella with Nana and headed off to visit Nikki. We headed to the outlet mall. Where Old Navy was having a good sale and they had flag tee's back!!!! we went to a few other places before stopping for supper and then heading back to my mom's. We loaded up the car, got bella, dropped off nikki and headed hom.
Bella aws great til we hit mt horeb and then she was screaming off and on the whole rest of the way. More on then off. ANd she wasn't even in the car at all before that. I guess my timing was off. But she was more than happy to see Daddy when we got home. As was I.
Today has been pretty lowkey. We went to church were Bella was an angel. I swear i got lucky with this baby and church.

10 months

Bella is ten months old today! The time is really flying by.
Bella is a speedy crawler now. YOu can here her just pounding her hands the ground when she takes off. She pulls up on anything that will support her. She likes to walk holding on to your hands, but when you stand her up on her own two feet she thinks it's a game and tries to bounce. She loves jumping and bouncing. She plays "so Big" now and her own.
She blabbles all the time when she knows where she is or doesn't ahve a bunch of htings to distract her. She's getting good at repeating what you say. for example if you say "mamamam" she will say "mamama"
BElla is up to two sippy cups a day of formula and two bottles. I'm plannning to take away one more bottle and replace it with another sippy cup next week. SHe is eating pretty much everything now. She's very big into self feeding with her fingers, but interested in the spoon. Here favorite foods now are, raviloi stuffed with anything, mac n cheese, carrots, peas and watermelon. She is slowly gaining more interest into fruits. She also has had a taste of cookies, cake and doughnuts and loves them too!
We recently started going to storytime at the library and Bella enjoys it. Also She has been allowed to watch a few videos every now and then and she loves the songs. She will "sing" along with them.
In the last month we have made it to two weddings which is a first for Bella. and she has done great at them til the last hour. She has gotten to hang out with her Great Aunt Darlene and seen a lot more of Grandma and Grandpa.
We spend my first mothers' day with my mom, aunt, sister and her family . Bella loves her cousins and they love her. Sara can now babysit BElla and Bella jsut loves her! We also got another round of pictures taken in the Harley Davison theme. She loved the ride on motorcyle.
Bella also got to see a lot of her friend Ella. The two girls are just a laugh now and seem to really enjoy each other.

another long weekend

Well Bug and I are heading out of town tonight. We are going to mom's tonight then tomrrow traveling up to appleton with Tori to a friends wedding . Saturday we are helping my mom out on her house. My sister and couple of aunts and uncles are coming over too. THen i get to hang out with Nikki. Before we head back home saturday night, to spend all day with Daddy!

Bug will be 10 months on sunday, so look for a month update on monday or possibly sunday night.

bonfires and books

Last night after supper, Josh Bella and I had a bonfire outside. it was such a nice night, not to cold, not to hot, no bugs, little wind. Josh and I made smores and bella jsut ate graham crackers, 2.5 of the full size ones. She loved them. I never realized she could eat them with out choking but she did jsut fine. Josh and I had a good time too enjoying the fire. Bella sat in her stroller and was very confused by the whole fire thing and just stared at it for awhile.

this morning we decided to go to story time at the libray in lancaster. Bella did really well. She was the youngest ther and the only one who doesn't walk, so there was some limits, but she pay attention while reading the books, and dance when everyone else was. We had a go time. I plan to keep going as long as we are home on a wednesday as long as we are home. I missed play group this week, but i'm gonna try for next week to go.

Oh yesterday, Grandma stopped over for a visit. Bella enjoyed seeing her. She was all smiles. Then Kayla and Jeremy both came while jeremy help josh with chores. It was nice for another visit. I think it helped to keep Miss Bella entertianed yesterday.

Memorial Day/weekend

Happy Memorial Day! Espically to those who have protected our country!

Yesterday was a fun day. My Mom and Aunt came to pick up Tigger and Taffy, the two kittens of Friendly's. It was sad to see them go, but at least i know that two of her kittens will live really happy spoiled lives. ALso it gave the remaining three a better chance to make it. Mom did call me at night to say they were doing fine, probably a bit of missing thier mommy, but since they had each other they were at least together. Then it was off to church. We got to sit in the front and bella did wondeful. She's such a good church baby.
Once we got home it was time to start getting ready for our cookout. Jeremy and Kayla got there first and then Josh's dad, Judy, Jen and Mel got here. We had really yummy yummy burgers, potatoe salads, fluffs, watermelon, applesause and yummy chocolate cake. Oh it was a great cook out. The weather was perfect to eat outside. Bella enjoyed it a lot. She loves to eat outside and just be outside. she got to eat watermelon, which is loves, and applesause which she does not.
after we ate we flew Bella's kite and then when on a ride around the farm, which seems to be a tradition now. Bella loved riding in Grandpa's truck and checking the corn with Daddy.
Once everyone left, I started to work on Bella's birthday tutu. I discovered i'm going to need way more tulle for it. But i've got it about 1/4 of the way done. I also have to take a tuck in the elastic band since it's a bit big on Bug. I'll be able to hit up Joann fabric's this weekend so i plan to get more then. ALso I should know what my 4 yards got me so far to know what more i need.
Then Bella took a good nap for two hours and I finally got a chance to read, which i'll be doing after i post this. after her nap we went out to the barn and it was pratically supper time. It was a light supper after our really large lunch. Bella got to try mashed potatos and brocoili which she seemed to enjoy since she could feed herself. She's really getting into eatting with her own fingers. We are letting her have a spoon too and trying to teach her about the spoons.
After supper we went outside to enjoy the wondeful weather and finsh up the garden. It's all planted now with the exception of lettuce which i need to get yet. Now i'm waiting for a good rain to make sure everything gets nice and wet. I'm sick of watering it.

Today starteed otu crummy. Bella woke up at 3am just screaming in her sleep. then at 6am she was up for good, but really fussy. by 7am she didn't want me or her toys. So this is gonna be a long day unless she wakes up from her nap really happy. We did go outside for a bit, but even that bored her. I'm not sure what her deal is today. Maybe it's from the busy weekend or maybe she's catching a cold or teething, who knows.

I'll post pictures this afternoon while bella takes her afternoon nap.

Let the weekend began!

Thursday was a sorta good day. Bella was very clingy and Josh had a lot of paperwork yet to do. which let me jsut in limbo. but the afternoon shapped up and we had a good time with Josh and the dogs. then at night we got to just relax, hung out side a bit and played wii before Bella's bedtime.
Friday Josh went off to plow a field for some friends, and i worked at cleaning up my house. I jsut did it on monday, but it was already a mess again. I need to go back to work again..it didn't seem as messy then. But my mom came around 10:30 and we got right to work outside. we got all the weeds down from teh two flower beds by the carport. We didn't make any headway on the garden though :( But after a run to Pamida and lunch, JOsh and I headed back to town to get Bella's birthday gift (i'm gald i figure out what to get her) , our fishing licences and a few other things. we got home kind of late but it was ok. Bella ended up going down for a nice long nap, which put us way behind in eaverything. WE had a late supper and then attempted to til the garden. DIdn't happen, but i got my tomato plants in. I hope i can figure out a recipe to can them and make my own sause.
Today, JOsh, Bella and I went out to Blackhawk lake. It was bella's first time on the boat. She did pretty well. She didn't like she couldn't move whereever she wanted too. Also she didn't get much of a nap today, so that made her a bit fussy. She didn't mind the lifejacket at all, which was great news. I hope this means she will be ok in the boat for Father's day weekend. Then once we got home we found out that we have two heifer calves..which like never happens. Also we lost the kittens, so we had to hunt to find them. Oh it's been a crazy day. So pictures will come soon as Bella is attcking the gate trying to figure out how to get in here with me. we have kicked her out of hte computer room due to her being able to get into everything!

Happy birthday

THis week there have been a lot of birthdays in the family. First it was Olivia's then Aunt Diane's then Ben's. the week before was Kara's. May is a busy Birthday month.

Bella and i want to wish a very special happy birthday to AUnt Diane since she has done so much for us and we enjoy visiting with her!!!!

A great nigh

Ok normally i post at night about the day, but last night was a great night. Bella slept from 4:30 til 6 so i was able to get some of supper started and hang out outside til she got up. We had corn on the cob and hotdogs on the grill. while Josh grilled we brought out Bella's high chair and let her eat outside. then we all ended up eating outside. It was a great night for it, the wind died down so it was the perfect temp. BElla, though not into food, seem to enjoy being outside. Of course then it meant she was no way ready for bed, so she stayed up til about 8:45. But it was ok, she had two really good naps so she wasn't fussy at all.
we also have our memorial day plans...I can't wait for this weekend! and all the corn is in so we get to hang out with Josh all day today and through the weekend! Both Bella nad I have missed seeing him all the time.

Today has been a wonderful day. Bella slept through the night, and freak mommy out. It's not a normal thing. Then after breakfest we hung out outside. I took some pictures of Bella and then worked in my flowerbeds while she was entertianed by her toys and the dogs. When she got tired we headed in and she took a 2 hour nap. I had to wake her ( i know dont' wake a sleeping baby) but it had been two hours and she need to eat. We did a quick lunch with Daddy, who's been very busy in the fields trying to get the corn finished up.....(which by now it's all planted :):) ) Then Bella and I were off to Town to get some food, gas and banking done. Bella was great in the store, other than she thinks bread is her own personal stress reliver and love to pound it and squeeze it. Once we got home, we played outside in her walker, where she only goes backwards in. She got fussy, so I feed her and attempt to get her to nap. Aunt Kayla was here so we visited with her and then Bug went down for a nap, which is what she is doing now. It's so nice outside and warm. thankfully we have a great breeze to keep it cool here.

a fun day in madtown

Today Bella and I went to Madison to visit Aunt Diane, pick up pictures and spend money at Archiver's :):)
Bella slept for about 45 mins on the way there, and that on the way home. she did so so the rest of the day. we got to play at Aunt Diane's for a bit and show off our new skills. Then we went to Archivers'....who relaly needs carts. hello people could buy more..lol Bella got fussy while we were there, but I got her a 12x12 album and elmo scrapbook stuff. I can't wait to use it. We figured out little miss was still tired. She fell asleep in the car, so we rode around the mall. Then she manaaged to sleep while Diane and I ate lunch. THis meant she never woke up while being transferd from the car to the stoller. We had a yummy lunch at steak escape and then galato, which naturally Bella woke up from. We also got her pictures from JC Penny and got her a new Love Bug shirt. I was really sad on monday when i had to pack way her old love bug shirt. THen after the mall it was back to AUnt Diane's where Bella got to really meet her cousin Kyle. Not sure who was more interested in who.
I have a few pictures from today, but they aren't uploaded yet. But i'm tryig to post everyday after certian people informed me that now i have more time and i blog less....you know who you are :P

Rummage Weekend

Well Bella and I were off again this weekend. I can't wait for this weekend to stay home! But we went back to watertown and had a lot of fun. Friday morning we hung out with daddy til Lunch time and then we started off. Bella slept so well and was a very good baby for a change in the car. we went to visit our good friends Hannah and Ella. It was a short visit, but it's nice to chat about the girls and watch the girls play.

Then it was off to Nana's house. we ended up going to the store to get a new jacket, something about Bella is good to spit up on everything when we arne't at home. Also we got some new food, her right baby toothbrush and paste, bella's first crayons, and the tulle to make a skirt for Bella.

Saturday was a busy, busy day. We started off the day going to two rummage sales before dropping Bella off wtih Aunt Darlene. Then I along iwth my mom, tracey, Sara, Elly and Tori headed off to Rummage til we dropped! I'll admit i wasn't as impressed as i was last year. I found a bunch of stuff that I would have loved last year to find. But i did mange to find enough clothes to get bella through summer and fall and part of winter. Also we found her some great toys

This one is the best, even if it did give her a red bump on the head. she still loves it.

we ened up doing a really late lunch early supper with Dar at Mullens and then we went home and dropped dead. Well Mom and me did, Bella was playing away with all the toys.

Sunday we along with Mom and Dar went to Ebert's to pick out a plant for my grandparents grave and a few for us and mom too. we got to Ebert's first thing so it wasn't busy. the only problem was the sun was too bright for Miss Bug, so no really good shots.

After a quick lunch at the Kiltie Bella and I headed back home. It was a nice quiet drive til Dodgeville and then Bella relized she was still in the car and was not happy. But we made it and were very happy to see Daddy.

today has been a day of cleaning and orgaizing. Bella nad i found a whole box of clothes that she can wear right now, so we are set for the next 3-6 months. I've decided again no clothes for this baby for her birthday unless it's John Deere. Poor girl has no John Deere. But now her closet is clenaed up, her toys are cleaned up and my house looks sorta cleaned. So we can be off on another adventure tomorow.

Up and Down

Tuesday was a great day. Bella took two two-hour naps and slept through the night. WE played outside for a bit, went to the barn

Wednesday was not so good. IT was icky weather so we were all sorta of down. Bella didn't want to nap much and was clingy. I was moody due to lack of sun and a clingy baby. So while josh milked we ran to Walmart. Naturally that's when the rain came. Thank god we got homebefore the major downpour. We invited Jeremy to spend supper with us. Bella really enjoyed having someone she hasn't seen for while visit.

Today we went to visit Aunt Kara to wish her an early happy birthay and stopped by Great -grandma adn Grandpa's to deliver eggs. Then we headed to Lancaster to get Bella signed up for Swimming lessons in July. SHe has such a great time before, I hope she still enjoys it this july., This time i'm going to get pictures..lol

we also have figured out that one of Bella's top teeth are coming in. THis is making her unhappy and cranky. I pray that this comes in quickly as we are suppose to go visit my mom, aunt and sister this weekend to hit the city wide rummage sales.

Bella has discovered my laptop, so we put her computer game on it. and she's loves it. Also the talking is increasing, Shes up to mama, dada, ya, baba, and at. she's also sayingt more sounds that we can kind of figure out what she is saying. we are working on clapping and waving along with guesturing to figure out what she wants.

Our Long weekend

Oh Bella and I have had such a busy last few days. We had an extended Vacation from home. We left the farm with daddy after lunch and meet up wtih Nana. Daddy had to go back home and we went the rest of hte way with Nana and Aunt Kayla to Madison for another round of Pictures.

Then it was drop off Aunt Kayla and off to Watertown. There Bella hung out with Nana while I went with some friends for wedding stuff.

Friday Bella got to meet up with her best buddy Ella. Hannah and I let the girls play in the house for a bit than we went rummage saleing around Hannah's neighborhood with the girls in the stollers.

The girls are getting to be so much more into each other. It's so great to watch them play.

After that things went down hil with Bella. She wasn't not a happy camper, so I left her with Nana while I went to hang out with the bride and bridesmaids.

Saturday came the big day for my twin. I had to leave early to get ready and such, but Josh came to watertown to join us. So He along with my mom took care of Bella til i was able to join up with them. BElla was an angel in church. Then afterwards we went to the Ocagon house to take some pictures both for the wedding and for just fun. Ella and Bella got to meet up again ebcuase Ella's daddy was in the wedding too.

BElla hung out with us til the grand march and then went home to Nana's. This was a "date" night for mommy and Daddy. we had a good time hanging out with friends, dancing playing cards and catching up.



Sunday was mother's day. THis being my first mother's day and not having to get up with Bella at all at night was nice, but I missed not seeing her in the morning. We made it to my mom's around 9ish and Bella had been up and had a rough night. My poor baby had enought with being away from me and home. But we got her ready and then we along with my mom headed out to brunch. We were joined by my Aunt and cousin too. THe food was good. Thankfully Bella slept through the whole thing so she got a little nap.

Then we all met up with my sister and her family to tour the Octagon house. It's a historal thing in watertown, along with the first kindergarten.

Bella did pretty good, But got antsy having to be held most of the time. But she's getting so much better at going to other people. She let my sister , mom and aunt hold her. after the tour it was back to my mom's for a snack and then back to the farm. JOsh managed to get done milking quickly so we were able to take some mother's day picture outside and have a nice meal.

It took most of yesterday to get bella back to her normal routine, so that was a crazy day. Today we have been just hanging out at home due to Daddy in the fields and it's really really windy here. We did get out for a bit to help some friens with thier chickens. Bella seemed to enjoy these chickens more than ours.

Now she is napping and I hope to have more regular updates :)

Only Tuesday

Ok it seems like it should be later in the week than only tuesday but maybe that has to do wtih my weekends are just like the weekdays.
Yesterday and today we have been spending a lot of time outside and then coming in to eat or nap. Bella is loving being to play in the grass. She also loves to watch COle and Snoopy and the outside cats. WE have also had a lot of time spent watching Daddy on the Tractor or riding with him. Bella took her first nap in the tractor the other day.
Yesterday we got to hang out in the barn while daddy milked. I think Bella was a little bit of everywhere, her swing, exersauser(only time she will let us put her in one, is in the barn), and front pack carrier. I think she was kind of mad that I was in the barn and not holding her. we ened up eatting late so then after supper we went back outside to help daddy to the tractor ready to plow again. Bella nad I sat in the Tractor and she loved the steering wheel and the John Deere symbol. Here daddy is training her right :)
Today we haven't wanted to nap much, so we hav ebeen fussy. But Mommy got more of hte garden worked on and Daddy got the new carpet laid in the basement. hopefully it doesn't rain too much so i can get back outside again.

Her 9 month chair picture... i finally got it. It's so hard to get her to sit anymore
