I don't want to forget life when we first moved into the new house. But it's been so busy between, work, school, unpacking and the holidays that it all seemed to flow into one long day.
I broke down and bought a fake tree this year. it was too much stress to figure out how i was goin to cut down a tree and get it home in my car. I'm not very confident with the trailer and struggle with trying to find someone to help me. So we pulled in to menards and picked out a fake tree. Lucky for me it was on sale and rebate. :) I will say its been a lot easier to take care of and it came lit.
we slowlly put on the oranments since i couldn't locate them all right away.
the start of decorating for xmas :)
So the 2nd night we slept in the new house, Max slept in his new tractor bed. It probably helped that St. Nick was coming.
So we managed to dig out enough christmas decorations for our stockings and stocking holders. St. Nick was able to come and bring the kids new John Deere jammies and a movie.
The 3rd graders and 7th graders decorated cookies to be handed out to those who could use a little extra holiday cheer. Here's my silly girl!
Gingerbread duck!
The next weekend before the huge snow fall, we went to make cookies at my sister's house. This was about the only time my kids did cookies.

Then we went to see Drew in Elf Jr:the musical. he played Buddy the elf's brother.
matching carhartt camo hoodies!
Snow fun!
One of hte last picutres i have of Josh was in his skidsteer moving snow. The man was pretty miserable, but he wanted to move snow, so we let him. This was the first real big snow. I cleared out the driveway once and had a guy come plow it the 2nd time. We got like 8 or 9 inches of snow in 24 hours!
We walked out to the mail box to mail letters.. I pulled Max in the sled. It was tiring!
We then made some more hay stack cookies since keeping xmas cookies until xmas is hard
The snow came! It looked so pretty..until it froze and then craziness happened. Trying to haul buckets of water from my house to the cows was hard and long. Thankfully after a day i got it all working again. I then had to get a plumber to fix the leak the pipes created when it froze. Ugh! but proud to say everything is working now and still working..
So our one cat has had some troubles adjusting to the new house. This meant she took out the tree skirt to do her business and got the presents that the kids bought. So we had to have xmas a little early. Bella got Max a thomas dvd, Max got bella a new horse and i got an angel nightlight.
Bella rehearsing for the xmas program at school. I do like the perk of being able to see her during the day
We got more snow! and out of school and hour early
The girls in class... i was subbing for an hour and we were playing game
Fresh water means happy cows
Max and lily
This girl and her duck
Legos are a big hit again. its been so nice to get out old toys and have room to play with them
Aunt Diane came to visit and see the new house. She also brought with wonderful presents. The kids were so excited! it was so nice to be able to catch up with her too, since i missed that at Max's birthday
Aunt Diane is always known to find the fun little random toys... even ones that just don't work are fun
Our Advent wreath...we made it two years ago with josh ;)
He wanted his monster truck and slept with his monster truck!
Max rehersing. I got to sub in his class too. It was fun to see him playing with his classmates and it's always entertaining with the 3 year old class.
