Sept 1st: Labor Day Picnic at the farm

The reason we went to Watertown for the weekend was so the drive up to Green Bay wouldn’t be as long for anyone. So in the morning, we got up bright and early. Max got bath after a blow out diaper while Bella had a tea Party. We got on the road by 9am, which I thought was good for us, but naturally stuff comes up so it took a bit longer then I thought to get there

Car fun

We got the party as one of the first few, so it was fun to see who would come next and enjoy people. THe kids really got a lot of one on one time with Grandpa, Grandma Judy, and Buscia. They also played with cousins, some they have never met before or remembered. Bella did awesome and wasn’t really shy with anyone. A big first for her. Max seem to follow her lead, but was a bit clingy..I think it was due to eating late. The big group pictures I don’t have yet, but hopefully I’lldo another post with them when I get them.

We figured out these tractors are at least 37 year old. Josh remembers playing with them as a child, too. Totally on a hunt for a pictures of Josh with these tractors. It’s a long shot.

Cousins. These two are 6 months apart. I missed the shot of the three kids..Max is the oldest of the three an the shortest. LOL

We had 4 generation pictures done too. I think we have had them done at least ones a year for the last 5 years. Let’s pray for a few more years.

These pictures melt my heart!  I’m sure they probably meant way more to Buscia then they will ever to me, but I love the love that my kids finally displayed.

After we left one side of the family, we met up with another side. We meet Grandma Della, Tim, Aunt Livy and her boyfriend Matt for supper. We ate at Frier tucks and it was good food. Max again was kind of squirrly but once we got food in him, it was all good. He enjoyed being held by Grandma most of the time.

This made Bella’s day. She was attched to Aunt Livy the whole time we were with her. 20130901-DSC_0729 (628x640)20130901-DSC_0734 (428x640)

Labor Day at the Farm

At tradion seems to hold true, Josh, Bella and I went up to Green Bay to visit Bucia and the other Green Bay area family.

The drive up wasn’t too bad. We got on the road at 7:50, which is about 20 mins later than planned. We stopped in Barnveld before we thought Bella would go to sleep, we stopped again in Fond du Lac to get Bella to sleep. She fell asleep outside of Denmark, about 10 mins from the farm.

But inspite no nap, Bella did great. She took a bit to warm up to everyone, but once she did she had a blast playing with her cousins, aunts and uncles. It was a nice day too, not to warm, not too cold, a little bit of wind and only a few bugs. Josh was able to go and talk with his uncle and see his uncle’s farm. I was able to talk to Tori and the family to catch up with them.

Our time there was too short as always, but great memories were made.

Labor Day

After a very full day on Sunday, We all headed back to the car and over to Grandpa and Grandma's (Josh's dad's place). What's a little more quality time spend in a car for our family. :) When we got there Uncle Tony, Aunt Kara, Uncle Jeremy and Kristine were already there as was most of the food ready to go.  So we got bella all set up in her stroller to eat lunch. and everyone chowed down. We had hot dogs, brats, sweet corn, veggies, cheese, chips and more. It was really yummy.

After eatting Bella got to go down and visit with everyone. She enjoyed seeing Grandma again. She even warmed back up to Grandpa. He gave her a ride on the swing and she loved it.

It was a short afternoon. But good to spend it with family.

That night we had left overs from lunch then went on a tractor ride. We saw deer in the bottom and got a really bumpy ride. Bella loved it. Mommy not so much. Bella got to take a nice long bath, as has become a favorite for my child.

A Trip to Denmark

Sunday Josh, Bella and I headed up to Denmark to visit with Bubica and a bunch of the family on the Warpinski side. This seems to be an annual thing for us. It's hard to get up to visit with it being a 4.5 hour car trip.  We started at around 7:45 on the road. Bella did pretty good. We  stopped in Verona and took a detour through Verona. Once we got through Madison Bella fell asleep. She slept for about an hour or so.  The rest of the way was so-so for Bella. We stopped in Wrightstown and then got stuck on a really long detour outside of Denmark.
Once we got there it was a good time!
We arrived right after Tori did and just as Grandma and Grandpa(Josh's dad and step mom)  were coming back from a walk. Bella took a bit to warm to everyone but Grandma.  After a bit of catching up, we got a 4 generations picture with Bubcia, Grandpa, Daddy and Bella. Bella then got to hang out with Bubica.  The rest of the day was spent eating, talking, catching up, playing and then some.
We also got my dress for Rachel's wedding sorta started to take to Aunt Lou's. Also we picked out a Dress for Bella to be made too. :)
Bella got to hang out with her aunts and uncles and just run around outside.
The way home was not so good. there was some sort of big accident on 41 and we ened up going through Neenah-mansha. then taking back roads back to Oshkosh, getting us home at 10:30pm.
The best way to show the day is in pictures:
