StoryTime Wedensday

Today we headed to town for Storytime. I also had to take my car into the shop for the check engine light. I knew it was fromt he gas cap, but to be safe since we are travling this weekend.

So Bella and I dropped off my car at Les Mac, which happens to be across the street from the library. I pulled out the stroller, just in case, and i’m glad I did.

We went to storytime and had a good time. It’s so nice to see the kids interact and for me to be able to interact too. Also I go the book for the book club. Don’t know anything other than the book we are to read, but oh well. It’s a start :)

after storytime, our car still wasn’t done, so Bella and I took a walk  down tot he square. We ended up at Kidz Klozet, where Bella got new shoes(she has almost out grown her first pair of stride rites ;( ) and mittens for outside.  They were having 20% off everything so with all of it, it turned otu we got ht mittens for free.

THen we walked down by where daddy was helping out friends and saw him. We wanted to do lunch in the park, but by the time Bella and I walked back to our car, which was now done, she was out cold, so we jsut went home.

Bella slept for 2 hours and we have now enjoyed out lunch. Off to play until Daddy gets home!

Fall is here!

So fall is only a week late.  IT started to cool off on saturday, good thing I got out Bella’s fall clothes.  But it wasn’t really til Monday that it got really chilly and windy.

Monday I did a major cleaning of hte house. I rearraged Josh’s and mine Bedroom all by myself.  It’s so nice. I’m trying to work on decluttering.  So right now it’s pretty clean! Bella’s not so sold on it since now she has to climb up one end to get on the bed and then turn to the side to see the tv.  But we added her rocking chair in our room for her so she can read books, play with toys, or whatever too.

Bella was kind of in a mood yesterday, and did all her naps early. But Grandma(judy) came to visit. Bella really enjoyed that. Grandma gave her a pony ride on Hershey.  In the last couple of weeks Bella has acutally like the pony. Or else just hanging out with the pony with Grandma has helped her like the pony.

I also got Bella’s chair fixed up and hopefully we won’t scratch it again.

Daddy is working on chopping Corn, so we got to ride along for some loads and play in the cornlige. Bella loved picking out the cobs that didn’t get all the way chopped up.  Bella didn’t enjoy being all bundled up. I had to put her mittens on her and she hated that!  So we helped with getting in the cows. They were really dumb and didn’t want to stay in the stalls becuase they didn’t like the food in front of them Out in the cow yard was some of the freash cornlige, so yeah they didn’t like the  stuff in the barn.

Josh was able to get 23 loads in the silo and he hopes to have it full with 12 more loads today.   We only have touched the fields in the bottom which mean we should be able to sell some corn to pay off debts. :)

Today was playgroup. It was a smaller group, but bella had a good time. She would play with the kids and then go off on her own and then back. we did music time this week, and bella was so so on it.  We did have on incident where bella fell and hit her eye on a toy, i just pray for no black  eye. she was a troop though and only cried for a min or two, got her nuk and went off to play again. I  got to talk to other mom’s and talk about some issues with Bella that i didn’t know what to do, and that helped a lot. Also I get to join the book club!  Things are looking up i think.

Before leaving town, bella and I had to hit up Dick’s Piggly Wiggly for food and stuff for Nikki’s baby shower. I’m really loooking forward to this weekend!

A weekend wedding

Saturday Josh, Bella and I set off for my friend Susan’s wedding in Beloit. We were only able to make it for the church part, but i’m gald i got to at least fo for part of it.  The drive down wasn’t too bad. We ened up spending i think more time looking for a place to eat or else it was really easy to get to the church.

we at one of the cleanest and friendliest arby’s that i’ve ever been too. The food was good too.

then we back  tracked to the Church. We ended up sitting by Crystal who i went to Carroll with, so I was able to talk to her, also she was ok with a baby who was looking at her or sharing things.

The ceremony was great! I’m glad Josh was there, as he took Bella out into the entrance when she got antsy so I could enjoy the wedding.

after the wedding was over, we had to head back home. :( Bella did sleep the whole way home so that was really nice.

The rest of the night was spend cleaning up from our quick exit in the morning.

Sunday we went to church and then to Great Grandpa and Grandma’s for lunch. Bella seemed to really enjoy the carrots for lunch. Also she has fun walking around and getting into new things.

We didnt’ make it over on friday to visit, so we went as a family on sunday instead. I think everyone was happy with that.

Josh started to chop corn when we got home. He got two loads done, that Bella and I got to ride along for. Unfoturnatly the weather is not in our favor for chopping this week  :(

Pictures to come….

Little updates

So wedensday we did storytime, and Bella had a great time. She was hanging out with all the kids and I really was able to connect with the mothers too! It was awesome.

Yesterday was clean up bella’s clothes day. I packed away almost all of her 12 month clothes, even though she still fits into most of them. I just needed to get them out of there. So then i was able to pull out all her 18 months stuff. Oh i can’t wait for it to cool down. she has such cute clothes. I should take a pictures of her very stuffed cloest now. Bella does not need any more clothes unless they are warm things like hat, mittnes and pants for going out in the barn. Well hats and mittens to play outside too. It was kind of sad to pack up the summer stuff.  I pray whenever we decided to have another child that we have another girl so i can reuse these clothes.

Today, is a raining day. But we are going to visit the Great G-parents. It will be nice for Bella to see them again. I’m trying hard for her to know her Grandparents. She seems my mom about once every 10 days, Judy once a week, martin about every couple of weeks. so that’s hitting most of them.

A few other little tidbits of Bella:

She is walking more and more. yesterday I think she walked more than crawled. She can walk all the way from the refridgator to the computer room without stopping or falling down.

She’s trying to walk fast but not stable enough for that yet.

whenever you say “you did it” or “good job” bella has to stop what she is doing and clap. or if she knows she did soemthing, like getting down from the couch the right way she will clap until you say “good Job”

She loves to watch her shows in the morning right after she wakes up. she will climb up into our bed and just sit there with her milk,  cow blankie and nuk.

No new pictures this time..haven’t uploaded since this weekend.. promise some to come soon

Our first trip to the Zoo

As if last week wasn’t busy enough, Bella and I along with Diane decided to visit the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison.

It was a nice day, not too warm but not chilly at all.  We didn’t go into the buildings other than the primates one. Where the zoo keeper wsa there telling us not to do anything in from to front of the monkeys, which i think really made everyone there bored.

So we jsut walked around and saw the outside animals. Which I dont’ think Bella was all that impressed with other than the pengins since they were most active.

Here's some of the pictures from that day:

Grandma, scrapbooking and Playgroup

Those three things have been what’s new with Bella and me in the last two days.

On monday, Grandma aka Judy, came over to visit. Bella had fun with her and Hershey. For some reason Hershey is now growning on bella. Before Bella could care less about the pony, but now she loves to sit on her.

the rest of monday was spend lazyin around. I manged to start working on scrapbooking stuff. I got all my paper pulled out for the book I'm making and list of all the pages, now i just need to create. Also i need to finish up Bella’s book.

Today I finally did it, I went to playgroup in lancaster. It went really well. I kind of felt like an outsider since everyone knows everyone already, but Bella had a great time! There was a ton of toys to play with and about 10 kids. All of which are 2.5 or younger. Bella was right in the middle. I was so proud of her, as she didn’t steal anyone’s toys or though a fit.

Only problem I have found with Playgroup is a certian little girl who missed her morning nap and not to fond of going to nap this afternoon. But she’s sorta napping now and i’m off to scrapbook.

Tomorrow is storytime…which will include most of hte people we just saw today!
