Happy 4th of July

july update 007

So our 4th of July was  a bit more laid back. In the morning we ran to town to visit Bella’s great Grandparents. Bella wasn’t really in the mood unfortunately.  I think it had just been a long few days for her already. It was a nice little visit before we headed to the grocery store for some last minute items. Naps followed and then we hit up the pool! Next up was getting ready for a cookout with the family. We invited josh’s dad and Judy, along with his siblings that are in the area.  It was a great cookout and bonfire! I hope we can do it again soon!

Friday Fun

ON Friday we had a fun day. It was hot to say the least, but Bella had a bunch of fun playing with her toys. Her newest thing is “tea Parties” My mom came in the afternoon, so we were able to go down to the pool and have a good time cooling off. After chores, Josh and I went out for a date night to A&W for dessert and to the fireworks!

A visit with Bella’s buddy

Due the fact that both Ella’s mom and Bella’s mom are pregnant, it seem to be harder for us together. Ok mostly me, but whatever. :) So when we had a chance we took it. It turned out to be a relaxing time which was nice since it seemed like i was on the go the rest of the weekend.  Bella was a bit shy to start out since there was another boy there.  But soon she warmed up and the kids had a great time. We stayed for lunch.

I wish we lived closer!

A week away

Josh needed some time to get a lot of stuff done here at the farm, and there was stuff that I wanted to do in Watertown. So Bella and I went to stay in Watertown for 5 days.  The start of our trip got delayed by a faulty gas tank float, but it all worked out.

We arrived in Watertown in the mid afternoon. Bella was so tired, that I actually got her to take a nap at my mom’s house.  She slept for around 90 mins before I had to wake her up, due to it was getting a bit late. It was also storming.  I’m so glad that the storms don’t bother her.  Between the downpours we ran to the library to pick out some DVD”s for our week long stay. Yeah that was a bit much. They have what seems like a billions so it was so hard for Bella to pick ones that I knew she would watch. Then we got back to my mom’s and waited for my mom to get done with work. I started Supper was it was already when she got home.

Later that night, I got together with Nikki for dessert out at Mullen’s. It was so nice to have a yummy dessert and just  a chance to talk the two of us. I had a dirt sundae with Oreos, fudge and gummy worm. Thankfully it didn’t bother me like other chocolate has in the last few months.  Unfortunatelty  I had to get back to my mom’s and get Bella to bed, so it was an early night for us.

Bella enjoying her toys at Nana’s house.  I didn’t take many pictures at all this week. :(

On Thursday Bella, Mom and I did a few rummage sales, before running to ShopKo. I needed to get a few things and it’s always fun to go there since I never get to one unless I’m in town.  Then MOm and Bella went home and I went to meet Courtney for Lunch. We ate at Applebee’s. I had the cheeseburger sliders and they were so yummy..other than i forgot to ask without the sauce. It was great to catch up with Court too, as it seems we are both busy bees.

After Lunch, we ran to the outlet mall to get a birthday present for my aunt and to get Bella a pair of shorts. It got a bit warmer than I thought it would. Then we put Bella down for a nap. Once she awoke, we headed over to my Aunt Dar’s new apartment. Bella loved it there. She right on the Rock River, so Bella could see the river and jumping fishes. It took a lot of convincing to get her back inside the apartment. But once she came in, she found all the toys. My aunt had a tote filled with the toys i remember playing with as a kid and some were from her kids who are near 40!

Then I headed to Delafield to meet up with Stacy and Jake while the others went out to McDonald’s for supper.  It was so great to catch up in person with her and Jake. WE have been pretty good at emailing but it so nice to talk in person.  I also enjoyed a meal with out a almost 3 year.

Friday was a busy busy day! It started off with me getting Bella ready to hang out with my mom for hte morning. Well turns out they decided to go with Dar to Brookfield, so I had to get everything ready for that. Hannah and I decided to try to hit up some rummage sales since she was busy on CIty Wide Saturday.  We hit a bunch of good sales and got a TON of stuff. By the time we were done, 4 hours later, her backseat was fill. Poor Ella, who we picked up along the way, didn’t know if there was  spot for her to sit. LOL

After Hannah dropped me off, Bella, Mom,and I went with Dar to Coony. We took flowers to my grandparents grave and then to Kiltie for supper. We also stopped at Kmart, but Bella didn’t get a nap in at all, so she was so naughty.  I didn’t feel the greatest when we got home, so it was rough night for everyone. I think I went to bed around 8 and Bella screamed until after 9 and sleep off and on.

Bella likes the rocks and even had to take two of them home with her.

She wanted to go see the geese.. which were hard to find.

Saturday, We took Bella to Dar’s apartment while Mom and I went rummage saling. We rummaged for 3.5 hours and managed to find the big items on my list to get. I needed to get things for out in the barn for the baby. We also found a bunch of toys for Bella. LOL  Afterwards we went back to Dar’s to celebrate her birthday and lunch. The day it's self was so gloomy and started to rain by afternoon. Perfect for getting Bella to take a nap :)

We spend the rest of the day hanging out with all the new things we brought at the rummage sales!

Sunday was pack up day to leave Watertown. Though we had a good week, I was more than ready to go home to my house.  WE did make a stop at Tori’s house to visit for a bit and to do lunch. Neither of us had our cameras out for any pictures, but Bella had fun playing with the toys and the Frogs.  Then it was time for the long trek home. We got home, saw daddy and got unloaded before Daddy had to milk and Mommy attempted to put everything away!

Dylan’s First communion and Mother’s day

So Sunday morning, Josh and I got up what seems our normal time. Ok normal for me of 6:30am. We lazyed around in bed watching some movie on tv, but getting dressed to go down for a yummy breakfast. They had omelets, waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, sausage, juice and milk.  Then Josh wanted to go to the hot tub again. This time i just put my feet in as I was too lazy to  re-shower and change a bunch of times.

Before we knew it was time to get out the pool area and quickly get ready to go. I thought we would be late for Dylan’s first communion, but we were a tad bit early. I was very impressed.

The service went really well. It was one full church to say the least. Dylan was a reader, Jesus and singer.  After Church we had a few pictures and then it was off to Tori’s. Once we got to Tori’s, My mom dropped off Bella, who had been hanging out with her. Due to the very packed church, it wasn’t fair to make her sit through that service. She was pretty shy at the party, but slowly warmed up.

We had a good lunch and time visiting with family, before we had to head back home.

Bella and Mommy

After we got home, we had to quickly get started on milking and chores, so the Annual Mother’s day Picture had to wait. So by the time we went to take it, both Bella and I looked a wreck. But at least we both look a bit silly.
