Morning came too quickly. We got up early and headed out to find the localtion of the breakfast. It was located in The Mall, which was a few minutes from our room. It was a nice breakfast buffet.
We then hit up the shuttle bus to Magic kingdom. We didn't get in as early as I hoped but we got there soon enough. We took the monorail over to the park. The kids loved that.
Our first stop was the train around the park. Max liked that one. I'm not sure I've ever taken it so it was nice to see something new. Then we hit up Dumbo. They added an indoor play area which the kids liked. It was again something new.
Then we went to Its a small world. We had a fast pass which was good since it was already so busy. We enjoyed the boat ride as it's a classic for Walt disneyworld. Afterwards we got a snack from an ice cream cart. we ate in line for the Carousel. The ride was fun, but Max decided to sit on the bench, so he go mad half way through when i said he couldn't switch his seat. Next up we went to Adventures of Winne the pooh. We knew it would be while, but it was forever. We discovered that the kids couldn't do anything with that long of a wait, so we changed our fastpasses for the afternoon.
We went to find lunch at somewhere we could sit down in a/c. Well Max fell asleep as we got our food, so we had a nice long lunch. The plan after that was to head down main street to do some shopping and wait for the parade.
The kids picked out toys, i got a few things before we found a seat by city hall. Only bummer was that the parade was going to end there instead of start, so that meant we had to wait a bit longer. The parade was good. I videoed it so i got no pictures from it.
We then decided to take the train back around to Fantasy land, so we went up to the train after the parade. We saw a storm arriving and tried to get us somewhere that the rain wouldn't affect us too much. Well the train stopped in adventure land and we had to hustle to find somewhere to go before the rain came. We ended up at the Hall of Presidents. I brought coats for the kids but nothing for me. We stayed there about a half an hour before we asked someone about the weather, and it was suppose to rain the rest of the night. So we made the choice to leave Magic Kingdom early. It was a bummer as we weren't going to come back, so we missed out on a few rides. The kids didn't seem to mind though.
We took the ferry back to the parking lot and then tried to figure out how to get back to the hotel because we thought we missed the bus. Turns out we didn't. Thankfully we got a seat on the leaky bus. We picked out Supper at hte Mall before heading back to our room to dry off and rest.
