In A coop

2015-04-29 012

Doesn’t everyone take a family picture in a chicken coop?

New home for the chicks

So Josh finally got a new coop bulit for the meat chicks. We couldn’t put them with the egg layers since they are free range and we can do that to our meat birds. the pen they were in they out grew. It took about a week, but Josh got it built and in place. Complete with a rainbow and all!

The kids tried to help moving the birds, but these birds aren’t people friendly and almost bigger, or bigger then our egg layers.

Baptism

We ventured up north to celebrate the kids newest cousin, Bethany. We had just seen the family two weeks earlier, so my kids were excited to see cousins again. IT was only a small group of our family that made it, but everyone that was there had a great time. The kids were playing so much and didn’t want to leave.

Bella's school had a family dance Friday night. Bella was so excited for it. She got to help decorate before hand too. It was fun to get out and do something different as a family. Max wasn’t a fan unitl the last 10 minutes.

Josh works just up the road from my mom’s place so we ate there, so Max could run around. Max also got his hair cut too.

Then After both Josh and I got done with work, we went to meet a friend to check out her pigs. The kids loved being on a farm and seeing the pigs and other animals. We ended up picking out two but waiting until the weekend to pick them up.

Then we went to Applebee’s for supper with the kids.

A little trip down memory lane:

Our first anniversary was spent with Josh getting his wisdom teeth out. I was also pregnant with Bella.  I’m pretty sure we also had just moved to the farm.

Our 2nd anniversary  was quiet at home. I got wii fit and I think we got someone to watch Bella while we went out to the Potosí Brewery

3rd anniversary was spent in the fields and a family dinner to happy joe’s. for pizza.

Our 4th anniversary was spent apart. I’m guessing that Josh was in the fields again, so I went to my sister’s to announce to them that I was pregnant with max

Our 5th anniversary :was spent Fishing. We had Lizabeth staying with us so we all went fishing. I think we also went out.Even though I don’t have the pictures from the day off, I know we always went out to eat to celebrate on some day.  link to my 5 year comparison

Our 6 year was a bit rough, Josh had just gotten done with treatments so emotions were running high. It started out rough, but we got a sitter and spend the afternoon together with movie, shopping and dinner.
