Happy Fourth of JULY

So a little different lets tell this day backwards.
WE ended the day watching wonderful fireworks at Lake Mills Industrial park.

we watched them out of the back end of hte car. That worked out perfectly.

There was a few things that we could do while we waited for the fireworks like face painting, temporary tattoos, fire truck to see and snacks. Bella did the face painting and max picked out snacks for himself and a glow necklaces . The kids play in the car while it was still light out. so we grabbed a family picture

They went inside the fire truck too and talked with the fire fighter for a good 15 mins.

Flash foward to the start of our day. Bella and I decided to help out Tori with the Summit Credit union Entry into the parade. Max , my mom and aunt decided to just watch along the parade route

We found a Johnny Popper while we were talking to our seats. Max was so excited. they were unloading another one when i was trying to get this picture.

Happy Fourth of July!

Me and my girl. I'm enjoying getting to do thing with just her these days.

The two young ones. They did a great job handing out stuff and trying to keep up to the truck.

Bella giving stuff to her brother

We were followed by John Deere Tractors.. i'm guessing max like them more then me and Bella. :)

Busy Bee Saturday

Wow What a day we had on Saturday. First thing in the morning, the guy from Texas came to get 10 more cows. This time Licorice went Sad smile it was sad to see her go, since I hoped to take her with the lodge, but it’s not fair to her and she’s a good cow. She will take on Brownie’s legacy to another farm. At least we get to raise her first calf (lily) on our new place and her son (Browning) to be a future bull.  This time the pick up was a bit quicker.

then we headed to Prairie for Josh to help his dad out, for Judy to take Bella to a butterfly show and for Josh and I to find a house. I got no pictures, but we did have a good time visiting and the kids had fun. Max managed to nap on while we talked to the sales lady on the house.  Then it was back home for milking and supper, before we got ready to head to the Rewey fireworks.

wrap up of June

Well the end of June has come. I swear the days are flying by quicker and quicker.  We spent some time helping a friend, took in the fireworks where we played with friends (no pictures though) and spent time at the library a lot !  There was also time in the pool or out in the barn. Just the lazy part of summer for kids

july 20th Bella’s birthday party

This year was the first year Bella was able to have a “friends Party” When I asked her what she wanted to do, I gave her two choices; a party in the park with just cake and ice cream and a lot of friends or just a couple friends and bowling. she picked the latter, so we went with it. She invited Ella and Kate. The kids had fun bowling, or playing around.. we had the whole place to ourselves. We did Cake and ice Cream followed by a trip to the park to play with bubbles. Even us Parents had a great time along with the little ones too.

That night, after the girls had gone home, chores were done, supper was ate, we piled into the car and went to check out Rewy’s fireworks. We parked far enough away that the sound didn’t bother Bella. IT worked out great!
