So forgive me dear blog, as I’m totally missing dates and events. I want to say the weekend went great and was normal. nothing really stands out other then we went to church on Sunday, then to run errands in Platteville, treated the kids to Country Kitchen were they did great before grocery shopping. I don’t want to come home to no food and have to go out with my kids or recovering husband. Oh yes Saturday we spend a lot of cleaning the basement, so I can take the kids down there to enjoy playing and being loud while Josh recovers. Sunday evening we spend it downstairs eating supper and watching the super bowl. it was fun for the 1./2 and then got kind of boring. Overall it was just great to spend the time with my little family, doing family things and making memories. Of course can I call them memories if I can’t remember them. I’m pretty sure I have pictures to add to this from the weekend.

But Monday, I took Bella to school, it was PJ day to make up for missing it the week before. I spend the rest of the day just sort of bumming around the house. Max was kind of clingy and I’ll admit the upcoming task of getting ready to be gone for about a week was getting to me. Well Josh offered to pick up Bella from school, so I didn’t have to run to town again. He arrived home with Bella who was carrying pretty flowers. The card on the flowers asked if I would go out with him on a date tonight. Naturally I was game, only I wondered who was watching the kids. When he told me he invited kara over, I was like “crap, I have house to clean” LOL Put I did a great job getting it to look presentable , myself presentable while Josh was milking.
He made reservations at a local Italian restaurant. It was nice to go out to a nice place and not have to worry about kids. We actually saw some friends there who ended up picking up our bill for us, which was so nice of them. I got to bring some of my meal home and it turned into lunch today for me and max.
We then went to Farm and Fleet to get me a new windshield wiper for the back window of my car. it’s the little things that make me happy. We arrived home to two sleeping kids who had a great time with their aunt.
Today has been a crazy busy day. First off Josh stayed with max, while I took Bella to school, then met up with my St. Clement's mommies. Those girls are awesome and I’m so glad I found them. I didn’t get to stay too long and visit though because Max has speech today.I feel so bad for Mrs. B. She tries so hard with max and he refused to do anything. He’s sure got his mommy and daddies stubborn streak. But she gave me some suggestions of what to do at home with him.. goal is to figure out what motivates him. this week it might not happen but hopefully the following week we can start to get some idea.
While Max was in speech Josh left for town and took my bracelet with him. I’ve had this sliver bracelet since I was around 16 or 17. It use to just have a heart on it. Kind of like a knock of the “return to tiffany’s “ bracelet. Well Sometime in October or November, I lost the heart on it. I was really sad. So Josh got me two little kids to add to my bracelet, but I still missed the heart. Also the little kids had legs on the charms which were getting stuck on stuff and I the little girl no longer has the legs because I lost one. Well when josh arrived back home he gave me my bracelet back with a new heart that says “Josh and Katie” on one side, and “Forever” on the other. He also got all the little parts sodered together, so they can’t come off. I was so happy. I don’t want to lose anymore off my bracelet.
We then did lunch, got Max down for a nap, worked on the last of our tax stuff before it was time to go get Bella from school.
