busy friend filled weekend

Saturday we loaded up and headed to Watertown. Bella went to the Ashppin picnic with my mom and aunt while Max and I hit up the grocery store to get stuff for the freezer meal workshop I was going to do on Sunday. We chilled at my mom’s until Bella got back before we headed over for a play date with two of our favorite boys.

The kids had a blast playing together. Not too many tangles either which is pretty good when you have a almost 6 year old, 4.5 year old, 2.5 year old and a 9 month old.

This little guy was just loving everyone’s attention. Bella is apparently all excited for all the new babies current and coming.

Sunday morning, Bella and I handed over to her buddies house, Bella got to stay and play with her buddies while Hannah and I went to a wildtree meal workshop. that was a good time. It’s nice to do adult only things. We then headed back to pick up Bella before going to my mom’s to collect max. We had a quick lunch at my mom’s before headed to Lake mills to visit Auntie Tori. I got to help Tori with some maternity pictures. She’s 25 weeks along with a little boy. We are very excited for this new little guy to join the family.

The kids played outside while we took the pictures. I was on a break while Tori did an outfit change so I got a shot of the kids. They love Auntie Tori’s fish pond.

This was one that Tori really wanted and it was the hardest shot to get. I’m just not as talented as I though. I think I got most of my bug bites from laying in the grass, but it turned out pretty cool.

This was my kids on the way home. They both passed out. So when we got home, we supper then back outside to play until they were tired out again.

Sept 24-26 Farm fun

So Josh was slowly getting the corn chopped. it came down to a little here and a little there. Either way he asked for our help to unload and thus it made it fun for us to go outside and hang out with him. We took some walks around the farm, play in the corn, played with the animals and just did normal farm stuff.. Here’s some pictures from that time.

Straw bales, we acutally got our own this year, and hay that we had to buy… so not looking forward to buying for the winter

The warm wonderful weather before the storm

So as we all knew would soon happen Mr. Winter showed up, but before he did, our family enjoyed another day outside. Matter of face we had enjoyed a few days outside, but i only took my camera out for one of them. The other one was during milking and i didn’t have max in the carrier so i couldn’t take the camera with. But it was so amazing and Bella is just so overjoyed when Max and I can join her and Daddy in the barn. Josh was working on fixing a leaky pipe and bedding the cows.

Max was suppose to be sleeping in his crib, but instead was just looking cute. Bella then ran into her room and covered up like her baby brother. It was just too cute to take a picture of.

I wanted to capture the brown. I already miss it so! Btw that’s brownie out there with fudgie. I’m not sure if she really knows her kids or not, but she does spend a lot of time with them

This cow Bella named…." Horny Heifer” can you tell why? But Josh renamed her Bertha since he wasn’t sure he could tell people her name was Horny

She loves to find parts of the corn stalks or sticks. They can keep her busy for hours

Max and Me you can actually see his face this time. I found him a snowsuit that actually fits him!

The cows love love LOVE this weather! They were so happy to just be laying around outside.

Bella jumping over the gutters. She loves that she can do this now. it still scares mommy a bit, but since i discovered she can just "step” over them too, I'm not as worried.

Oh look my husband!

This just cracked me up.. Our chickens were digging for bugs (apparently they missed the memo that they bugs are gone). They also ended up finding corn and soybeans so they were happy. But the chicken are just chilling there and B2 is just watching and waiting. He wanted chicken for supper, but realized they were as big as him!
