What a week

This week was crazy busy. Monday started off with a bang, literally as it was raining and storming. Max woke up with a rash and naturally it was my first day of work. I had to be in meetings and training all day. thankfully my mom was watching the kids and I as able to call the Doctor’s at break and get Max an afternoon appt. Josh got off early due to the rain, so he took Max in. Doctor thinks it as just a virus but put him on some antibiotics just to be on the safe side. Thankfully other than nasty diaper rash, which he also got a cream for, he was in a good mood. So between Josh and my mom they took care of the kids, while I got CPR trained and learned about my new school.

Tuesday evening as open house as Bella’s new school. I had to work it for the whole time. So naturally Josh had to work late, but my mom came over to sit ith the kids while Josh and I passed it each on the road. The open house as long and I met a bunch of new people, that I’m not sure I’ll ever remember them all. Josh brought the kids at the end because I was worried about Max’s face. Well max wasn’t happy to be there at all. He wanted to play outside so that as tough. Bella and I went to get our picture taken and saw Bella's classroom, before it was time to leave. It made for a late night.

Wednesday as another day of hanging around home. We were suppose to meet up with my sister but do to Max’s rash we stayed home. I think we did go grocery shopping though since I need to get food and stuff for Bella’s lunches. Max also decided that he didn’t need a nap. that made for along day, who then fell asleep on the couch while I was doing chores. oops. Josh was running late, so after a quick supper we decided to enjoy the cool temps and hang out by the shop. it was great to run off some last minute energy that Max gained with his late night nap.

Thursday was another stay at home day. Birth to three came today to get Max set all back up for speech. I was disappointed in the fact that it’s another two week until speech can start up again. that will be about 6 weeks from his last session. Josh again had to work late and this time Max refused to nap until late in the afternoon and fell asleep but this time didn’t want to wake up, which made for a late night.

friday was a fun day. Josh was off work, so we had a lazy morning. We got some projects done at home . Max got a nap! Yeah. After naptime we decided to go fishing in the area. We didn’t have much luck but the kids could see the fish in the water and caught a couple. Then took the kids to my mom’s house and had a double date out for friday night fish

Josh update

Josh went to see his new doctor today. Blood work came back great. they actually had all the blood  work back already including the CA 19-9 which is what they look at to see if there is tumor growth. No growth that they can see via the bloodwork. The doctor recommended a ct scan to be done to make for sure no growths. Josh as impressed by this doctor and seemed to like him more then the old doctor. IF the ct scan comes back ok, they will remove his port for a 2nd time. Josh also plans to look into some other doctors/nutritionist in our local area.

First Packer Experience

So For each of our birthdays Josh and I were given a ticket to a preseason Green bay Packer game. neither of us have been there before so this was a great thing to experience together. We left the kids with my mom and headed up to Green Bay around lunch time. We were running a little bit late, but thankfully there was nothing set in stone until the game started.  We meet my sister and brother in law at a park and ride and then went on to the hotel, which was like a block from Lambeau field. There were parties all around it and so many people! I got carded at one bar and naturally I didn’t have my id on me. First time ever! We managed to walk around to the front of the restaurant and get in with no problem.

Just before we went in. Josh and I rented seat backs, which was so helpful and recommended. Tracey visited with us for a bit at our seats as they were about 20 rows back from us.

 

We got to the packers warming up and then the whole starting of the game. It was so cool to be so close and see everything as it happened. Sometimes it hard to not look at the screen and watch since I’m so use to watching football that way.

after the game (we won btw ) we went to Curly’s which I totally wouldn’t recommend. YOu couldn’t get beer out of a bottle, Josh couldn’t get the Lambeau heap bc it was training menu only and Tracey and I spilt a sundae that come with a picture of Eddie Lacey only they ran out of his picture. LOL It was totally crazy . it was also 10:45pm too. LOL

We got back to the hotel late and slept in until about 830am. We did breakfast at the hotel restaurant before going back to the stadium for a tour. I totally recommend that one.  We even got to see Aaron Rodgers filming a commercial
