Bella update

I realized that I never did a 2.5 year old update.. we had pictures done but no blog update.

Stats:

Height: 38.5 inches

Weight: 33lbs fully clothed

Funny phases:

She talks pretty much non stop.

In church for ash Wednesday services, she wanted to go home. So i told her we had to wait until after communion. She replied, “I get numnum(m&M’s)?” Glad she is excited about communion..she also things she should get it when we go up for it at church.

When you tell her to be careful, or do the opposite of what she is doing or you hurt yourself, she replies “I’s sorry”

She loves to say “thanks you” when you give her something. She makes a big emphasis on the "’p’ in Please.

When you ask where Daddy is?… “Daddy Milks Cows”  Or if we are outside with him and she can’t find him,  “he’s in the Silo”

Every thing is “A mommy, A daddy and a Baby”

“I love you, too”  no matter who says it first.

“i ok” if she falls, trips, runs into something

“happy birthday cake” and she can sign the song too!

If she doesn’t want to wear something “It too big” or if she can’t do something because she’s too small, she still says “I too big”

She sings a little song i made up for her when she was a baby and I wanted her to fall asleep “ Baby Bella, Mommy’s girl” she repeats it over and over.

Her abc’s are “abcdefg oqwxyz” She’s only missing a few letters.

TB=TV

Tick=Tickle

Lelo=Legos

Daily thing:

She wakes up with the first light of day and often comes into bed with me for “ Milk, Snack and Tv”

She wants to go outside all the time and can now open any of the doors. She also likes to lock the door too.

She CAN NOT sleep with her socks on but will sleep just fine if wearing shoes or footie jammies.

She loves Snacks, but hate meals.

Likes: Salad, salsa, goldfish crackers, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, grapes, watermelon, bananas, applesauce, raw or frozen:carrots, peas, broccoli, corn. She also likes chicken nuggets or small bits of chicken, pepperoni and Canadian bacon before it’s cooked, pizza, mac n cheese, pb&J (only strawberry jelly though), shredded wheat, Chex mix , cupcakes, yogurt

She loves to pick what type of cup to use… sippy or big girl cup, if big girl cup then she had to pick which one. and she refuses to drink if you don’t give her what type of cup she wants.

She Loves to get Mail..every day when we get the mail she asks for “Her mail” So if anyone wants to send her mail she would be really happy. IT doesn’t matter what it is, she just loves opening the envelopes and see what’s inside.

She is starting to get into picking out her clothes. She can put on her underwear and pants and sometimes her socks. We are still working on shirts and dresses.

Her naps are in late morning to early afternoon for about 1.5 to 2 hours.  We try to spend our mornings out and about or helping outside. We have moved supper time to before milking, so now we eat supper, she goes outside to milk cows with Daddy, then comes in for a small snack before bedtime.

She loves to read books and actually will use the pictures in the book to tell the story. She also takes books to bed and will fall asleep with them.  Over the monitor we hear her reading them to her stuffed animals and Mimi.

Bella no longer uses a Nuk or sleeps in a crib. We are about 75% potty trained. Part of the delay is due mom and dad’s laziness when it comes to bundling up for outdoors. Bella is also iffy about using the potty anywhere but at home.

Bella’s favorite pastime is playing with her animals, she knows what type of animal they all are and the sounds they make. She loves to stack them up, play hide and seek with them and line them up.

She had some chores too, one is to feed Anners the house cat and the other is to feed Cole and the outside cats. All of which she can tell apart. She also loves to help put the clean dishes away, throw things away and just about anything to “help” mommy or daddy out. She wanted to do barn chores so we are going to see if we can find her a little shovel for scrapping and small push broom.

Bella is still a climber and will try to climb just about anything. She is very into the cows. They are now all her cows and calves. But she will say Popcorn is her cow and Brownie is mommy’s' cow. Fudgie is also Bella’s cow too. (which really she is btw)

I know there is probably more..is there anything you wanna know that Bella has been up too?

Day two of no Nuk

Well today was day two of no nuk. I should back up to last night. Bella slept until 3/4 this morning then went back to bed and came in by me at 6:20. This was a bit early to be awake but since she went to bed at 6 and fully asleep by  6:50.

We enjoyed some TV time until Josh came in the house. Josh make yummy chocolate chip pancakes.  Bella actually ate most of them too! Then it was time to load up and head to playgroup. we got there early, so that meant we got a great parking spot.

It was a semi big group but Bella had a great time playing with everyone and with the snow and play dough. We also had music time. Bella started to get tired during it, but we stayed until snack time.  As a treat, We went to McDonald's to get lunch.  Bella was very happy at that choice.

After we got home and lunch, Bella went happily to bed. If that happiness would have lastest. She used every excuse she could get get up from her nap. we worked for almost 2 hours to get her to go to bed, finally i sat on the floor of her bed, so she wouldn’t get out of her room and she was out cold in less than 5 mins. She slept for 2 hours.

She woke up really grumpy , but we needed to go outside, so that calmed her down a bit. I needed to do barn chores. She was really happy once we got out there. She loves all the big piles of snow. I”m very sad that it’s suppose to get bitterly cold out. We stayed outside until Josh got home. Then it was inside to get ready for supper. We ate supper a bit late, but it seemed to work ok.  Josh and Bella went out to milk. Josh brought Bella in but had to go back out to fix the feed cart. by the time he got in, her bath was ready and off to bed she went.

I stayed with her for about 5 mins and she got up once to get a book but hasn’t made a noise since. fingers crossed she sleeps through the night.

update

I"m a week behind in blogging, but I wanted to post some stuff. I've gone on a break from Facebook, so I've been missing updating my status on there. I never realized how simple it was to type a couple sentence, then hit "post" and everyone one knew what you were up too.
This week has been a trying week. A bunch of stuff as happened, most of which i'm not able to talk about on the web yet.  We did have some good parts like Playgroup and Story time. I really need to keep my butt home and start to do more with these mommies. I miss the wonderful girl time we have together.  Diane came out to visit us on Wednesday and that was fun. It was nice to be able to talk to her since she's pretty objective when it comes to a lot of stuff that I need to get off my chest.
Then on Thursday I was able to have some girl time with Hannah. Thankfully Diane and Duane watched Bella for me since Josh was very busy with getting a lot of soybeans, fixing a blow tractor tire, milking, putting up fence, ect.. But as Murphy's law would have it... if i'm having a good time something has to go wrong. Bella went to bed cranky and feeling warm, but I figured it was just from it being late and having her over dressed.
Wake up with Bella at 7:30 and she's is roasting.. Yep she's sick and it's Friday. So I call the doctor's and the earliest we can get in is 2:00pm, so I had to run Josh to his truck and then Bella and I quickly hit up the grocery store. Bella fell asleep in the 10 min drive home and slept until 1:30 when I had to wake her up.  Take her to the doctor's and an hour later they have no cause for the fever :( I'm gald it wasn't something awful, but sad that we don't know the cause or what to fully expect. So we got home and Bella went back down to sleep from 3 until 6:30. Once she fully woke up, her fever was gone and she was in a much better mood. Of course it made for a really late night.
As of this morning I can tell she's not 100% better, but getting there.

Farm update: Brownie had her third calf, a little boy named Stu. That was a rough night, as Brownie showed a side I've not seen before. She was really protecting her calf and thus charing the cats, well Cole protects the cats, and it was pretty scary seeing Cole and Brownie go at it.  Thankfully everyone is ok. Stu is doing great.
Josh has been doing a lot of round baling in the last few weeks so he's been very busy with that and roofing.  We have purchased a new to us combine and josh has some repairs to make before he can combine our corn.  With over a month free of rain and warm temps it's really help for our corn to dry down quickly.

I've officially started my Christmas shopping and even have one person all done, Two people done but their stockings, and 10 people started.. figured out we have 21 to buy for this year. I finally have to crack down this year and limit my spending and such. which makes me sad, but I know those I buy for get so much for so many others too.
The fall weather is finally here and i'm looking forward to it. We had a great pumpkin harvest so i was able to give out pumpkins to a lot of people as well has having a great scene this year.  I can't believe that the end of October is almost upon us. I'm looking forward to seeing how Bella does this year with Trick or Treat, so already know how to say trick or treat and that Halloween means candy.
So with that said.. I shall post this.. keep checking back as I have a ton of pictures and post to create yet.

23 months old

Bella is 23 months old today. Next month will be the TWO! The last month she has gotten even more independent and grown up, if that’s even possible.

She is talking all the time and gaining so many new words. She will also name things for us.

Ground, Sky, Brownie, Gus, bowl, fork, spoon, pony, mine, tracey, drew, nana, granna, sara, elly, greg, daddy, mommy, monkey, jump, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, ten, cup, plate, banana, cookie, cake, potty, stinky, diaper, shirt, dress, tink, go-go, wiggles, hand, pray, water, milk, juice, baby, nuk, blanket, shoes, flipflop, outside(side), peas, corn, grass, no, yes, bug, hand, foot, toe, finger, head, hair, eye, mouth, ear, nose, back, button, butt, leg, knee, shoulder, flower, tractor, truck, necklace, bracelet, pretty(headband), hat,

Ok that’s all i can think of at the moment. THose are most of the words too that a stranger would be able to understand.

One molar of the 4 two year molars is in, i think. Hard to really tell, but I think it’s in there. Either way there is still three more to go.

She is on the go all the  time, the only time she still still is to watch Tink, Go Go(go diego go) and wiggles. She also like Dinoasaur Train and Elmo.  She will go off with kids these days instead of being afraid. She loves to play with new toys and climb up everything! The amount of things she can climb amazes me and she has little fear in doing so. But still has a slight fear when coming down steps. She has walked up them like an adult, but prefers to go down very slowly.

She eats what Bella wants to eat. We give her new food to try but in the end it all comes down to if she wants to or not. Corn, Peas(fresh from the garden) bananas, apples, strawberries, chicken and noodles are always hits. Pb&J, watermelon, hamburger, and hot dogs are toss ups, some days yes, some no. She loves juice, but gets it only now and then. She had her first taste of OJ and loved it! Not sure why I didn’t think of that one before. She isn’t in to eating much, and prefers a snack here and there. Not sure if it’s toddler related or teething related.

As I type this is she screaming, she has entered the Terrible two’s already. If it’s not Bella’s way, she throws a fit. Normally you can distract her quickly if needed, but at home she has to tough it out.

The last 23 months of taking her picture now means she won’t look at the camera. she will say cheese and do whatever she wants to do. IT’s kind of funny when i do get the “cheese” face.

We have started working on potty training and will be going full swing next week. So far she had pooped on the potty twice and pee’d once. One of those times was this morning where she had a not so wet diaper and two sippy cups of milk. we were so proud and gives me a little hope to maybe be daytime trained by age 2.

There are so many other things that she does now, she can jump, she counts (one, two, three, and then somehow she gets to ten, but skips 8 and 9), she knows Green, Blue and brown for colors, but can pick out pink shoes when asked. She loves to draw and color. she loves bubbles and blows them with her nose and mouth.  She is loving the kiddie pool and sand box, as well as the sand and water table. She still loves her babies, and the cats. She learned to stomp on bugs and point them out. She loves to watch the cows, count them and tell us what they are doing.

22 months

Ok it seems like i just did 21 months, and now another month has passed by!

We had a rough month this month of not wanting to sleep alone, but the last week she has been doing great with night time, it’s naps that are hit or miss.

Eating is back to the picky/grazer phase which is partly due to those molars that are still not in. We have been playing around with letting Bella drink out of a cup and sippy cups without the no spill valve.

Bella has starting to try to say the abc’s with the song and she gets certain letters but not the whole thing. we are also working on counting and she knows how to point while you say the number and can count ‘one"’ and “two”

We are gearing up for summer and have had the kiddie pool out a lot in the last week. She loves to play in it and will even get her face in the water.

Bella was in her first car accident, when Daddy hit a deer. She slept through the whole thing until the cop came. So yeah not a big deal to her. No one was hurt but the deer.  So then we had a whole week of no car. Bella didn't’ seem to notice that either.

We went on our first road trip with Auntie Tori and Dylan. We went to LaCross. It was a good time and had lots of fun, but Bella got sick near the end of it. :(

Bella is able to tell us more and more of what she really wants and doesn’t want. Also she is saying more words to help us understand what she wants.

She runs, crawls, climbs just about any where!  She loves to be outdoors and the farm.  She loves helping out daddy or mommy. She follows simple tasks and directions.

New favorites are Tinker Bell and The wiggles.

21 months old

So Bella’s 21 months old but I swear she is already two.

She can pretty much get her clothes off if she wants too, but her pants unless you start them for her. And she knows how her pants go on, but can’t get them yet. She can get anything over the head on. She loves to walk around with jsut about anything around her neck like necklaces, shirts, josh’s undershirts or my underwear! So far she hasn’t really tried to pick out her own clothes or put up a fight with whatever we put on her.

I think we are at a teething stand still til the 2 year molars pop through. I’m pretty sure we are working on them, as she has been putting everything in her mouth to chew on it.  It’s so cute to see her cute toothy grin.

Sleeping had been a struggle. We were doing really well until the last two weeks of April, and then we have regressed to two naps a day and up before 6am!  We are working on going back to one nap a day at least….working on the early morning later. ;)

Eating is always fun these days. You never know if she will eat her whole meal or take one bite and then say “done” and Bye.  She makes it very clear when she is done. Her favorite in food vary with her moods, but you can know that noodles and fruit are always favs along with corn.  She needs to have her food looks like Josh’s and mine or else she doesn't want to eat hers only ours. She loves dipping stuff and we are trying out different dipping ideas. She is great with spoons and forks and seems to improve each time. Every week i think she uses her fingers less and less too! We haven’t attempted to teach drinking out of a cup much, we stick to sippies as she really likes to take them with her or make a mess out of them.

Playtime.. Bella is starting to play more with her friends at both Playgroup and Storytime, as well as outside those events. she also interacts more with “strangers” and new people than before. She love to say Hi  and Bye at stores and such. She is getting more and more words in her vocablary, I think she learns a new one every day. It takes about another two days or so before she actual connects the word with the object or action.

Highlights of the past month:

First skinned up knee :(

First time really using a regular cup

Said the word please (we already sign it)

She was able to jump with both feet off the ground for the first time. She has repeated it a couple times, but not very high.

Slept in just her diaper for the first time , as she learned hot to unzip her jammies and take them off.

We celebrated Easter twice and had two egg hunts.

WE had our first playdate with friends of mine from High school

Went to the zoo for the first time with year with our buddy Ella

Had a sleepover at Nana’s house while mommy was out of town.

we got a new sandbox, chalk and tricycle and love all three!

20 months

Bella is officially 20 months old, i can’t believe that in 4 short months she will be two!

Every day is a new adventure with her and she learns something new.

She will say new words all the time, but takes awhile to use them over again.  No is still the word of choice, but she will stay “ow” when she gets hurts. She is slowly working on “yes” but only when prompted. she points to the sky and say “sky”  She will just talk and talk and i hope soon we will fully understand what she is trying to say. She loves to talk on the phone, so feel free to call her. LOL

She’s big into climbing still. I’m grateful that she can be outside to do that. We spend a lot of time outside. Bella seems to have her favorite things to play with outside, like the corn sitting on the ground, or just playing in the gravel.  A treat for her is to play in the feed bunk. She love the cows and the calves. The cats love her and you can always tell where Bella is, as there is a herd of cats and normally Cole too around her.

She getting so much better at meeting new people and being ok with it. She great with kids and seems to even starting to enjoy meeting new babies. She says hi and bye to pretty much everyone who leaves or comes. We held Easter at our house and she seemed to do great with all the family in the house.   Also play group we have been having new faces and she dose ok with it all.

She still likes her slow wake up and resting time of tv.. she still loves Elmo and wonder pets, but has branched out to Max and Ruby and blue’s clues.  this month her naps have been all over the place, especially in the last week or so.  But unless she is stuffy, she has been sleeping through the night pretty well. I haven’t minded getting up with her around 5:30am and then bring her into bed with me and sleeping to 7:30-8. that was a nice change!

I know it’s seems like she should have them all, but we have one more Eye tooth on the bottom to come in and we are done til 2 year molars, which i figure will be in the next 4months too. LOL

She is great with a fork or spoon. She knows when she needs ones and won’t eat til she gets it.  She will though eat with her hands while holding the fork or spoon.  She’s on a give me fruit all the time craze or cereal bars. Pretty sure she would live on those alone.

She loves her babies. Especially the bald ones. At playgroup she loves the ethnic baby the best. she will carry them around, give them kisses, and feed them. I noticed after one playgroup where one of the other little girls were wrapping up their babies in blankets, she came home and did the same.

She great at playing independently and loves to just sit and read books. She also has mastered stairs at every house but our own. I’m not ready to take the risk yet. But the other day I didn’t realize the gate was open and sure enough she was half way down them when i found her. She did take a pillow with her so not sure what that was all about.

She’s getting so smart and remember things, also she can do a lot of things. She is getting so independent at this age!

Oh I forgot: SHe loves “pretties” in her hair, which would be headbands, since nothing else will stay in, but she only likes the hard ones that she can easily take off and put on. Also she loves to wear sunglasses, which she can also put on herself.

Here are some pictures taken on the 31st in her Easter dress

19 months old

Wow, Bella is 19 months old.  It’s all downhill now til birthday number 2!

February was a crazy month. It seemed that whenever there was something going on someone was sick. Bella was sick the first weekend with just a cold, then i was sick the next weekend and then Josh and Bella were sick after that.  Bella some how got RSV and we spend a week of her being miserable. She's acting normal, but you can tell she’s still a bit run down with her runny nose, cough here and there and needs a lot of sleep.

Sleep wise she has been sleeping through the night most of this month. She was on just one nap a day til she got sick and now she’s been napping twice a day sometime three times a day.

Eating seems to not the important to her unless it’s a cookie or Yum-yums (m&m). So it’s been a fight to get her to eat her food. we have started to us different things as “dipping sauce” to get her to eat more . Personally i’m not worried about her not wanting to eat a lot right now. Because at the doctor’s they weigh her with all her clothes and shoes, but still you could tell she has to have gained a bit of weight in a month.  We are also trying to get her to drink more milk . While she was congested and sick i gave her watery juice to help keep fluids in her and with keeping her normal since the medicine stuffed her up. (yes someday she will hate that i shared about her pooping online). So now she wants more juice than milk.  She’s also in a booster chair now. Her high chair transforms into a booster, so we made the jump. Other than it’s easier for her now to figure out how to stand up in it, she’s been doing really good with it.

Teeth, well all are in but 2  year molars and one eye tooth on the bottom. Oh I'm so grateful when all these teeth will be in. I think the last eye tooth is coming in now as Bella has really picked up on the chewing of everything again!

Bella still loves the outdoors and acts like she is in charge of the farm. She will go pretty much anywhere on the farm.  She loves the mud and would sit in play in for hours if we let her. She loves to help with bottles. Valentina is her calf now who she loves to let suck on her fingers. She totally understand if she sticks one finger into the hut the calf will suck on it.  She also will now say Neigh when you point to a horse/pony.  She’s not sure of the baby pony Ash, but loves to feed treats to Hershey.  One of her favorite things to do is ride on the tractor with Josh to feed a round bale to the big calves. She knows how to sit on the side and watch. When she’s not outside on the tractor she loves to walk around on her tractor.

She might love the mud and tractors, but she’s also a little girly. She loves wearing dresses and SHOES! I’ve created a shoe-hog. So i put shoes on her as a little baby because they were cute, cheap and last forever, well now it’s kicking me. She loves shoes. She knows her shoes, and pink, red, black and brown because of her shoes. she also loves flip flops. The first pair were cheap and i got them on a whim. and she loved them. She was ansty in the store gave her a pair of flip flops and she was happy go lucky!

Bella loves to talk and she starting to have more words that we understand. the few signs that we have worked on with her are really helping too. She is also finally pointing more.

She also very expressive. she has some great faces that I hope to one day catch on camera.

Other little things:

She can stack blocks, and get the shapes in shape sorter.

Words: “neigh” “NO” “shoes”

Loves: Elmo, Gullah Gullah Island, the Wiggles, dancing, outside

Hate: Diaper changes, nose wiping, being told “no” , having to go inside

Thursday, February 4

Welcome to February

Let’s see if i can recap what we did so far this week.

Monday was the wind down for our party on Sunday. the house was still in pretty good shape, only dishes that had to be done. I officially decided that Bella works the best with only one nap, so we started on our new little plan for the day. We worked on colors and letters. Basically it meant Bella got to color with crayons, markers and finger paint. Oh she was in HEAVEN! We also read a bunch of books. Then after a snack, she went down for her nap. I spent my free time working out on the Wii, scrapbooking and sewing.

Then after Bella woke up, it was almost time to go out for chores. We had Test Bottles, so that meant I would be out in the barn the whole time. Bella took another nap while in the barn apparently it’s either really boring or she was making up for only one early nap the day before. So it meant kind of a late night since supper wasn’t really ready when we came in.

Tuesday, It was sad day to see the 4 inches of snow covering everything!!!! Unfoturnatly our blade to move the snow was uptown, so Bella and I stayed home from playgroup. I just couldn’t heart Josh having to plow out the driveway with the skid steer or driving us to town when he would be coming to town with us the next day. IT was sad not to go, but Bella and I ended up going outside to play. She had a lot of fun in the snow. she even got to go with Daddy in the Tractor. That girl is a farm girl for sure!

I was ready for naptime, as it’s tiring play outside in the snow. Especially when you have to carry your 25lb baby who feels like she weight 50 with all the snow stuff on. ONly this time after nap she wasn’t a happy camper. I guess it was a sign of what was to come.

Wednesday we all headed to town in the morning. Josh dropped Bella and I off at the library for storytime and he went to do some errands. He came back to pick us up after storytime to head to the doctor’s office. For once we were early, but didn't’ go in til 10 mins after our appointment time. I think it was karma for us always being late. Well as soon as Bella saw the nurse she started to scream and didnt’ stop til 10 mins after the nurse left the room to tell the doctor we were ready. Then even with the doctor in the room she wasn’t a happy camper. I forgot to ask some question due to my very unhappy baby.  Hopefully the next visit in 6 months will go better. a

After the doctor’s office, we stopped at Dick’s to get some food and something for lunch. Naturally that took almost an hour of a trip to get food. I’m grateful we only seem to go around once every 3 weeks. Came home for lunch and then to put Bella down for a nap. She didnt’ sleep too long and was cranky as she was first thing in the morning. Apparently Wednesday was just not her day.

She did mange to learn some new words :Cole, Bird and Whoa

Also we finally got to open the Mrs Potato head that she got from some friends and she loved it!!

Today has been a better day and looks like Friday is going to be a fun day. Can’t wait.

Hopefully I’ll get some pictures up soon

Some Dislikes: Diaper changes and clothing changes, certain noises like the chain saw and a remote control car, hamburger, any pancakes not made by daddy, being told No or she can’t have it. being in the car more than twice in a day.

Bella 17 months

Wow, it’s hard to belive that this is bella’s 2nd winter season. She will be a year and half just around the corner.

She is walking, running and dancing now. She can climb up pretty much everything in the house now. Of course this now gives her mommy a heart attack everytime.  She mastered her little slide and is so proud of herself every time she goes down.

She talks up a storm now too. Of course we only can make out parts of what she says. She likes to talk in sentence.. I did it, I know.  But she is slowly speaking more words. She just doesn't like to repeat when we ask her to say something.  And she know the word no. Doesn't say it but she shakes her head violently when she means no.  And EVERYTHING is NO. Drive me batty!

Sleeping is hit or miss. we will go two or three nights of sleeping through the night and then we go a couple nights of up one or two times. Napping is much the same, sometimes it’s one long nap , others its’ two short naps.  I blame teething and independece for this.

There are many activities that Bella enjoys now:

Coloring. SHe loves to color! She has only once in the last two months put hte crayon in her mouth.  She knows where her crayons and colorbooks are and will pull them out and just lay on the floor to color. Also it’s about the other think she will sit for long periods of time in her high chair to do.

reading books. She still loves to read books. She’s getting more into the having us read them instead of attemping to read them on her own.  We enjoy going to the library once a week to get new books and for storytime.

Baby Dolls: Bella loave her baby. She gives her kisses, feeds her food (fake and real) and gives her drinks from a cup.  She also loves to carry her around, put her in the high chair or rocking chair. THe only thing is Baby’s clothes can not change or a meltdown will ensue.

Elmo: Bella loves all things Elmo, this means books, Elmo toys and Elmo on tv.

Bella’s all-time favorite activity is to go outside to the barn! She loves to watch Josh milk, play with the kittens and Cole, and run around the barn(if I'm out there). She know the barn and if you metnion it she is waiting at the door.  She loves to be outside even now in the snow and cold.

Bella’s eatting habits are not as good as they were a few months ago. She’s starting to be “picky” or just not hungry most of the time. She still has her favorite foods like Daddy’s pancakes, bananas and celemtines. But she likes to eat her food like adults do. She wants a full piece of pizza, chicken tender or french toast. She knows how to take bites of of them instead of putting the whole thing in her mouth.  She prefers to “drink” her yogert than have it spoon fed to her. She also really good with using her fork, but gets confused if we give her a spoon.  When she is done eatting she must put everything she has eaten on to her plate along with her fork or spoon and then hands it to Josh or I.

Bella is very much full of personality now days. She knows what she wants and who she wants. She’s getting better with going to new people, but still takes some time to warm up to new places and people.

She did great over the holidays and loved to unwrap presents.

THe day will come

I totally spaced if I took a picture of Bella yesterday... and then thought maybe yesterday was the day it stops, then i remember nope, i took around 25 pictures yesterday..i know it will end, but kind of sad when it does.

But that day is not today… Maybe whenever we have another child or Bella starts taking pictures. For now I’ll just live in the moment have being able to see her face in print everyday!

Bella update

New Words: Ball, On, Off, no

Tonight she was able to eat with a fork on her own. Normally we have to help her scoop up her food on the fork, but tonight she did it all on her own.

She knows what a hair brush and tooth brush is and where you use each one.

She knows how to use a remote and take pictures with a cell phone or camera.

She is working on climbing up on more things…she can get up in the pews at church on her own and is trying to learn how to climb up into her high chair.

Loves to READ READ and READ!

Knows where her belly button, head, chest and toes are.

Just a post

So things have been a bit crazy here. Coming home, playgroup, josh not feeling well, my class. My week has flown by and yet I don’t feel like i’ve gotten anything done. Ok well in terms of Bella. I have a few pictures but I haven’t gotten them on the computer yet.

We have worked at getting our basement cleaned up and organized. I have the pantry room done, and the living area just needs to be vacuumed, we have the “office” area done too.  The bedroom/studio needs to be vacuumed  and a few more things put into place. we have to get rid of the couch/chair that in there. It’s pointless. I think I might move it outside and use it for outside shots next year.  The kitchen/washer area needs some work yet, but I hope to have it all ready for hte holidays. I want to find a small tree to put downstairs too. We have more than enough ornaments that it shouldn’t be a problem to decorate.

Josh has also talked of maybe this winter we can get the walls redone and the bathroom(at least a toilet) done. It would be really nice to have that done.

I”ve also been attempting to declutter the rest of the house. I have worked at the kitchen a bit, my closet and bella’s room. I didn’t look like i got rid of much but it’s a whole trunk load and front seat load in my car going to Goodwill today.

This upcoming weekend is the first of three thanksgivings for Josh me and bella. We are celebrating with the Jahnke Side of the family.  I hopeing to remember to get a 4 generations picture as we havent’ had one since Bella’s bapstim or maybe even when she was only 10 days old.. So it’s over due…anyone who reads this and will be there on saturday, can you help me to remember???

Now i’ll end with a couple pictures of bella from the last couple of weeks.

A back up to Halloween

So Bella and I went back to Watertown for Halloween.  But first I should say that we celebrated with playgroup on tuesday. So that was our trial run of her pumpkin outfit.

We left Friday morning and stopped at my friend Katie’s for lunch. Bella really enjoyed the toys she had set out. So much that Bella didn’t eat lunch! Then we continued on our way to Watertown. We stopped to visit my mom at work and get new shoes for Bella. Then back to my mom’s and hung out there until she got home.

MOm got to hang out with Bella while I went to visit my friend Nikki.

october update 066

Saturday was our busy busy day. After Bella decided not to nap, we hit up Farm and Fleet. I finally got to go to Toy Land! I even offically started my xmas shopping on saturday!

After Toy land we went to lunch and then headed over to visit the Mock’s.  Both Bella and Ella were pumpkins.

october update 067

Then we headed to my sister’s house to go trick or treating with her and the kids.

october update 068

It was really windy, but Bella stayed cozy in her stroller and still manged to bring home a lot of loot!  We hung out with the Fox’s til after supper and then it was time to head home. Bella fell asleep on the way to mom’s  and then went down fairly well.

I got sick on saturday night, so our sunday was ruined and cut short. We came home and Bella got to hang out with daddy for most of the day. They got to pick corn, take a round bale to the calves down the road and milk cows. Bella even napped in the tractor. I wish i had pictures, but Josh doesn’t have time for that.

So there is our Halloween! I hope everyone had a good one too!

Happy 15 Months

Bella is offically 15 months old. She turned it on Halloween. It’s almost like a birthday :)

Today we went to the doctor and Bella was not having it. Apprently she remembers going a couple weeks back and getting a shot.  Today she got three more shots.  But now is done with shots until she goes into K-4. She still will have check ups, but no shots.  Bella is 23.8lbs and 32ins tall. I think she might be a bit taller, but she was kicking and screaming as they were trying to measure her.  So she is in the 65% for weight and 89% for height.  I think those tall Warpinski genes are starting to even out with my short Allen genes..

In the last month, Bella has really started to understand what we ask her to do or tell her to do. She’s really into her routine.  She has been sick and/or dealing with Molars so her napping has been really thrown for a whack.

Everynow and then Bella says a new word. She said Tractor today. But otherwise she prefers baby gibberish.

She can climb up and down on most things and is working on it with actual stairs, the coming down part.

This month we celebrated Halloween and Bella’s first trick or treating. She got pushed around in the stroller but did go up to a few houses with Mommy. We went with her cousins.

We are still regulars at Storytime and Playgroup. Bella seems to be enjoying watching the kids and slowly interacting more and more.

Bella also made her first trip to Sheboygan for Rachel and Joel’s wedding. She wasn’t so happy that Mommy was part of the wedding, but did seem to enjoy seeing family.

No Pictures

I really hate being limited on my picture uploading. It’s made me kind of not want to blog or share pictures.  I hope this weekend to get caught up on uploading pictures while i’m visiting my sister’s. I also hope to upgrade our internet  sometime this winter so i can upload more.

But her’s a rundown of what we have been up too.

Monday: Josh was home all day, so we ended up running errands in the afternoon. Bella seemed to enjoy it a lot. We also worked on carving pumpkins.

Tuesday: Bella and I went to playgroup. It was dress up day, so everyone came in their costumes. Bella did very well in hers minus the hat. Though she can put the hat on all by herself.  We also visited Daddy at work. Josh has been working at a friends of ours so Bella has enjoy playing out in the yard.  After a late nap and lunch, we played outside for a bit.

Today: We went to storytime. Bella is really getting into the kids and sort of the story part. I’m really getting into being able to take to other mothers and adults!

All this week i’ve worked on attempting to declutter our house. I”ve already gotten to our linen closet, Bella’s room and half of our kitchen. I know most of th stuff is downstairs but every little gone is a little more room!  Josh and I also got the car port cleaned up, under neath too!

Bella has been thinking she only needs one nap a day and been going to bed then early. This is only kind of nice, as it would be nice for her to stay up a bit so that Josh, Bella and I can hang out a bit.  Also I miss the break to get more work done around the house.  She also likes to “use” a spoon or fork with her meals. She’s good at getting the food off the spoon with her hand and then feeding it to herself.

We also Fingerpainted today and she didn’t try to eat it at all!  She is really growing up!

12 more to go

On thursday I discovered that the first of 4 molars has pop through bella’s gums. So now we are down to 12 more teeth. I do belive that another molar is on it’s way too. So that will mean she will have both top ones first.  I’m guessing that is why she has a cold this week.
