It seems this week was the week to start saying our goodbye to our cows. Some of them (dry cows) had already left, but this week it was time for the milking cows and young stock. First on Monday we had some wonderful middle schoolers out here volunteering from Love Begins here. Bella was so excited she kept saying “the teenagers are here” (if you watch Peg + Cat you would get it) They helped Josh get a bunch of stuff cleaned up around the farm.
We then had someone come to pick up our younger heifers and couple bull/steers. It was sad to see them go, as we had been hoping to raise them, but plans changed.
Bella had gymnastics, so I took her to that. it was a good ol time for her
a sweet picture of a boy and his duck
Tuesday was a busy day. We had speech first in the morning and Max wanted to be outside. This meant he wasn’t too much into talking. Oh well. Then around lunchtime the guy from Texas that was coming to take the first load of cows arrived. He eneded up being here for about 2.5 hours talking and waiting on the cows to eat and drink before the long 19 hour journey to their new home. (btw we heard they did great)
his shirt said handyman, but I could get him to smile with out putting his toolbox down.
the duck had to go out too. they were checking out the flies that were cold since it was like 65 degrees.
Gus climbing. I’m going to miss him.
This little boy cracks me up at the things he does
