Easter 2.0

We celebrated Easter Sunday with Josh’s family. Frist up was church, then we came back and started to get ready. Somehow the time got confused among the family, so what was suppose to all start at 11:30 didn’t until 12:30. But Lunch went over well, pretty sure everyone was stuffed. WE did “easter Baskets” next. The men all got rockets, the kids got buckets filled with good stuff and the woman got a little mismatch of everything. I hope everyone was pleased.

Grandpa/Dad/Martin’s Birthday

So after Easter with my family, Josh and Jeremy started milking early, so that we could leave early to go celebrate Martin’s birthday. The rest of the family was meeting over there too..so it' was a chance to see family an extra time too.

Happy Easter 1.0

Saturday we celebrated Easter with my family. Since I normally host it, Tracey and fam along with my mom came down to us. We moved things up to be early, which wasn’t good since everyone overslept. LOL Somehow we pulled it all together. I set up an egg hunt in the backyard. Everyone had one egg to find and the kids had the other eggs to collect. I up the anty by adding money to a few eggs. I had baskets hidden under a blanket in the basement for after the egg hunt. We decided to dye eggs next while Lunch cooked. My brave husband took Sara out driving for her very first time. Report was she did really well for her first time behind the wheel. No one or thing was injured. After lunch it was clean up and time for them to head home. We had a great time though. THe kids were very sad when they left. Poor Max doesn’t understand he will see them again and very soon.

crazy wednesday

So As a family we were going to hit up church with the Bella’s school, only there was no school mass. So Josh took Max, who was sleeping in the truck to run a few errands while I went to the grocery store and to Penny’s One hour photo to print out some pictures for my new frame. I had a frame made up of Max’s Hand, foot, sleeping face and awake face, like I made of Bella. So happy to have a matching set now.  Then Josh and I switched Max for the groceries. Max and I went to the library while Josh headed home.

Max and I had about 40 mins before story time started, so we had fun just hanging out in the library.

After Storytime we went to pick up Bella and headed home for lunch.  They guys returned to continue working on hooking up the well to the milk house, and hydrant.
