Jan 31st- Happy 1/2 birthday Bella

Wow, I totally forgot that it was Bella’s 1/2 birthday until I went to school to pick her up. Since she had a summer birthday,that’s how she gets to celebrate in her class. I think it’s an awesome idea. Bella got to wear a crown and got a present (a book) from her Teacher.  It also happened to be the day we ate Lunch as a family at her school. So Extra special.

I thought I should do a little update on my girl. Last measurements were a height of 45 inches a month ago and her weight 6 months ago of 42lbs. Her hair is getting long, finally. She needs to get it trimmed but I’m so on the fence about it. She’s in size 4-6 clothes, though 5t pants fit her perfectly. She loves Pink and Purple. She loves to wear dresses and play dress up. But don’t be too confused bc she will get down and dirty in the barn too. She loves tractor rides, fishing and playing with the animals. She’s a great helper when she wants too. She’s able to pick up after herself and help me clean. She loves her little brother and playing with him. Only a few times does she get upset at something he does. She loves School, which makes her mama so happy. She ask every day if she gets to go to school. She has learned so much and can’t wait to do an updated of how her school year went in May. She comes up with the funniest sayings and asks a million questions. She wants to know what’s going on at all times. She loves to “read” and is staring to pick up on words. She’s writing names, drawing people and coloring in the lines. We are potty trained for the day and working on the night. Her favorite foods are Pb and J, Mac n cheese and grilled cheese…sometimes yogurt, hot dogs and salsa. She’s not a good eater like she was a year ago. She’s spunky and fiesty and just like her mama. Love my Girl!!!

 

She was just “resting” and 10 mins earlier told me she wasn’t sleepy. Girl then took 15 mins to wake up.

Wrap up of January

So the end of the month sure came quickly. IT also came with some nasty weather. Nasty weather means we are stuck inside more, so I’ve been playing a lot with my camera. Max also is just a cranky butt. He had a runny nose that comes and goes. It reminds me of Bella’s that she seems to have from 12 month to 24 months.  Bella had a snow day on Wednesday, which she didn’t understand.

He loves to walk around with his clean diapers.. he also randomly puts them places too, which makes it really hard to put them together.

The snow storm. Yes we did go out to town on the snowest day. Eh it was dead so it wasn’t hard to travel.

The bald Eagle that is feasting on a dead deer by the road by our farm. Gross why he’s there, but still very cool that he keeps hanging around. Bella loves to see him on the farm.. him being the deer, but I’m not really sure if it’s a boy or girl

jan 28th: productive and fishing

This morning I got up with Max at 6am, feed him and put him back to bed. He got up again 30 mins later, and Bella then joined both of us in bed. We all stayed in bed until around 7:15 just watching tv. I won’t say my kids don’t’ watch tv and I won’t not let them see it, so it’s nice when we can all relax in bed.  But that time is limited with Max, so we were up and moving shortly after. Josh got in about 30 mins later to start breakfast.  Max was a cranky butt, but what’s new. (josh thinks he found an eye tooth waiting to pop through..we shall see) I decided that I wanted to get myself back on track with working out and eating right. So I asked Josh to watch the kids while I went downstairs to Zumba on the wii. Oh you could so tell I hadn’t in awhile.  When I got done, Max went down for a nap, I took a shower while Bella played quietly.

Then I got down to cleaning. I got my kitchen cleaned including the floors, started a load of laundry, made the bed and started picking up the living room. Then Max woke up. Once he was up we did lunch. JOsh surprised Bella and offered to take her ice fishing. She was very excited.  That left me with Max. I decided to take him to the grocery store so I could make supper tonight. Naturally I forgot stuff last time I was in town. He had so much fun in the store, which is funny since it’s not the first time he’s gone alone. But it was a quick trip and back home again. He fell asleep and let me transfer him to his crib once we got home.  I then spent most of his nap making supper. Bacon cheeseburger Meatloaf. Then he wasn’t so happy when he woke up. So after watched Larry and Tec on baby first tv. I decided we were going outside. Oh it was so nice outside, except for the mud. OH did Max get messy. The he fell one too many times and didn’t’ like his hands being dirty.  So inside we came to wait for the fisherman

They arrived home with 9 fish! Josh got skunked the last time he went. Bella had a good time. Josh said she did great until the last 10 mins when she got cold. I thought she took two pairs of gloves but she only took one. I guess she didn’t’ catch any fish bc josh said they were hard for even him to catch. But she wants to go again. I even got Josh to take some pictures too

 

 

Max went down for another nap before Daddy went out ot milk. Then Bella and I were just bums until Max woke up and joined us. Supper was so yummy and I see me making it again soon. The kids took baths and then down for the night..Bella’s excited to go to school tomorrow. I’m hoping and I keep the productivity going tomorrow too!
