Nov 30th- Ornament making

I decided we were going to make some homemade gifts this year. I’m not saying who’s getting them or showing what they turned out to look like, but we had a blast making them. Even Max had fun. They were easy to make, but I think we made a much messier mess!

Nov 29th- farming

So our day started out with Bella off to school. Daddy took her this time. It was her 50'th day of school, so her teacher had  sock hop type day for them. She fought me on wearing the poodle skirt, but then wouldn’t take it off once she got home!

Max got to try  bacon for the first time. He seemed to like it but mommy got worried he would choke on it, so I just gave him a few smaller pieces after these pictures.

Our new thing… Max now gets breast milk in a bottle. He’s not a fan of holding it, but if I stick him in the chair he will.  The weaning process as begun. never thought we would make it to a year, but we did it!

Out in the barn. Finally max will put up with the stroller while out in the barn. Bella having fun in the lime pile. Not pictures is the catipiller she found. Poor thing , if it wasn’t already dead I’m guessing the lime might have killed it.

THis little dude loves to walk around the barn, but he’s still kind of wobbly due to his boots are a bit big for him. So I have to follow pretty closly to prevent him from going into the gutter

Nov 25th-28th

So our Sunday morning started out with a splash… Well at least for my phone anyhow. Max had my phone and dropped it in the toilet. I was so upset to be without a phone. It turned out it was fried. Sad smile I lost a week and half worth of pictures and countless other apps, messages and music.  So on Monday I had to call to get a new phone, thank god for insurance! The new phone arrived on Tuesday afternoon.  So since I didn’t have my phone to take pictures on, I used my actual camera instead.  I wish I could remember more of the days. I know the weather was so nice for the end of November. Bella has school on Tuesday and Wednesday. I know Max and I went to story time, where he had fun playing with the other kids and reading books. I know my house was semi clean from the holidays yet and we hadn’t started getting the Christmas stuff up. It just didn’t’ seem like Christmas should be coming since it was warm and green.  We spent some time outside visiting the cows while Josh milked. All and all these days were ones where we look back at the pictures to see what was captured and build the memories based on that.

Tuesday was a long day. I have no clue what we did outside of going to school, oh yes Josh had treatment and it was a very early appt. Josh and I had to take two cars. We all met with the doctor and then while Josh got treatment, I took the kids to McDonalds and grocery shopping. Two tired kids and one tired mama, makes for a very long and frustrating trip to Wal-Mart.

I won this sweater when I was pregnant with Bella. She never wore it bc it looked too boyish and Girl had no hair. So when I found out I was having a boy I was excited for him to wear this.

Nov 23rd-24th many hours in the car

Friday morning the kids and I got up and ready for the day early. We headed into Madison to do some black Friday shopping with my mom and aunt. Oh I should say it was Bella and I. Max stayed with Daddy who got a baby sitter. Bella is so like her mommy. She did great shopping and was a little trooper through the stores. She did end up with a few new things. I was able to finsih up a bunch of my shopping too.

then passed out.. this was as we pulled into the drive way.. I was trying to get to out.. only she was out cold.

Saturday we loaded up again, but this time as a whole family and headed to my sister’s house for thanksgiving and Sara’s birthday. We got there semi early, but we didn’t have to rush home which was really nice. So we had a nice yummy lunch followed by even yummier pie’s for Sara’s birthday. Sara opened her gifts before we started playing monopoly. It was fun to play with my sister’s kids. They are at the prefect age for it. I miss family board games.  From there Max got a nap on daddy and Bella spoiled with attention from her cousins.

Monopoly time. Bella and I were partners

Then we decided at the last minute to do church in Watertown, then we suddenly decided that mom could take Bella to the Christmas parade in town while we took max to church with us. we would then meet up with them. Well The parade was over before we got done with church, but Bella had a great time. I’m glad she was able to go. I loved that parade as a kid.
