Early Xmas Weekend

So on Saturday,  Josh had to work, but before he did that we went to Radio Shack to get new phones. Who could pass up the four days of all phones being free. Well it took us almost 2 hours to get our new phones.  Thanks to my wondeful friend Court, I got a Motorola Hint. I LOVE IT!  Josh got the new razor and seems to enjoy it, but it’s taking him a bit to get use to it. Poor guy hates getting new phones, but at least he has much better reception and battery life on this phone.

By the time I got home, my mom and Dar were here. We were going to celebrate xmas a bit early. We always do something small between the three of us (now four if you count Bella). We decided to celebrate at my house this year, so someone will finally see my house decorated, well that kind of backfired since we didn’t have a real tree yet, but I had put up the little fake one with lights from  mom. So we had a small tree anyhow. Originally we were suppose to get together this up coming weekend, but everything as normal got changed around.

So back to my story… Mom, Dar, Bella and I went to a small local resturant in Fennimore.  The food was good once we got it, but we waited almost an hour for our food. Small place, really busy and only one cook.  Bella had one meltdown, but after walking outside and then getting crayons she did a lot better. we even had ice cream for dessert.

Then we went back home and open presents. Bella got a tea set(that talks with a British accent), clothes, and a Vacuum.  I got a caddy for the sewing machine I haven’t found yet and rubbermaid storage containers. (i need new ones for some reason most of mine are missing lids). IT was a short visit but a very nice one.  I dont’ have pictures off the camera yet or uploaded.

Sunday after attending 8:30am mass and visiting afterwards. We went to Cook’s Woods to get our Xmas Tree. It was a little chilly, but we found a tree after only a few mins and then got free Hot Chocolate. Even Bella got a taste and really enjoyed it.

Josh had to pick some corn(yes it’s still in the fields yet), so Bella napped and I worked on cleaning up and rearranging the living room. after lunch we got the tree up and I slowly started to decorate it.  Only to realize i was missing a bunch of ornaments. So I stopped for while and let Bella explore the tree with out anything breakable on it.

After milking and chores, Josh and I worked to finish up decorating the tree.  We then discovered that Bella LOVES baby Jesus .  Josh already things we need to say no to her walking around with him, but he’s family friendly plastic, so i don’t care.

It was nice to get the tree up and I pray this one last longer than last years tree.

I’m working on uploading a bunch of pictures to use my free prints at Seehere.com, were i jsut order my Christmas cards. So I hope to have new pictures up later this week.

Yes we are still alive

So I”ve been slackin on posting. It’s been pretty crazy around here since my last post.  It took a bit to get back in to the swing of things only to leave again.

We went to my sister’s for two days to hang out and make cookies. BElla and I also hung out with my mom for a bit before heading to my sister’s and went to some craft fairs. IT was opening weekend, so Josh was out hunting deer.  He did mange to get a small buck and a doe on the first day.

Sunday was cookie day. Everyone was cooking but Bella. My mom came over too, so it was a whole houseful and everyone making a different type of cookie!  WE also celebrated Sara’s 12 birthday too. I can’t believe  she is 12 already. 

Then since miss bug was ready for a nap, we headed home.

Monday was spent attempting to clean up. Tuesday we headed to playgroup. It was so nice to catch up with friends and for Bella to get to play with her friends too.

Then we headed out again…. it was a last minute leave, but we made it around 1 and just before the really heavy rains hit.  Bella and I left Daddy behind again.  We got to see Nana, Aunt Tracey, Uncle Andy, Aunt Darlene, Sara, Elly and Drew. It was nice to see them.  I swear we got two months with out seeing each other and then we see each every week. It’s crazy!

Mommy Daddy and Bella celebrated thanksgiving together thursday night. Daddy made the turkey and mommy made corn, mashed potatoes and stuffing. We had apple pie for dessert. Bella was more into the rolls and grapes.

Then Black Friday came… Bella apprently really wanted to go becuase seh was up at 5:20 this morning and wouldn’t go back to sleep. So we packed up and headed ot Madison.  We are very grateful that Aunt Diane was willing to hang out with Bella, as Mommy xmas shopped with Nana and Aunt Darlene.  Mommy had a good time and sounds like Bella did too. 

Now We stay home til mid December and Mommy is looking forward to it. I hope to update more and post pictures too, now that I should have more time, right ;)

Random Professional Pictures

So I took Bella in two weeks ago to get some pictures done. They were really just for Mom to have one of her in the Red dress. The red dress was brought for my sister Tracey when she was a baby and all the girls in the family have wore it at Xmas time, well at least had thier xmas pictures taken in it. Mom has them all up on the wall and there is even a vest for boys now.  Drew is to thank for that one :)

Anyhow between mom needing a picture of that and Penny’s doing a new thing, I totally took advantage of it. :)

Busy Bees and New Baby

Since I got home from DC, we have been pretty busy. On Saturday Tori came down to visit for the weekend. So we got to visit with her and I got to fill her in on everything.

Sunday we went to the pancake breakfest at Lancaster High School before going to church in Fennimore. Then as an impuse Tori, Bella and I went to Goodwill in Platteville. 

MOnday we got the great news that Nikki and Josh K were now proud parents of a little boy. Ronin was born on monday after a long weekend of wondering when he would arrive.  So monday I made plans with a few people to meet up in Watertown/Madison so that I could come to see the new baby.

Tuesday morning Bella and I set off for watertown. We stopped at Babies R Us to do a little baby boy shopping and snack shopping for Bella. Then we headed to Ella’s for Bella to have a friend to play with. I got to enjoy a very yummy lunch cooked by John. It was nice to talk them and catch up.

Then Bella and i went to my mom’s to hang out until she got home. Nana got to watch Bella while I went to meet the new baby.

I got up to the hospital and got to visit ith Nikki and Josh for a while. I even got to hold little Ronin until his Grandma and Grandpa showed up. Tori also meet me up there, so i got to see her again too :)

Wednesday, Bella and I hung out at my mom’s for a bit before running to the store to pick up a few things.  After saying Bye to my mom at work, we headed for lunch with Courtney. Bella was an angel at lunch and didn’t want to leave.

But we did leave to head to madison. I got to pick up Bella’s pictures and visit wtih Aunt Diane. Bella loves to go visit and play with Mango the kitten. Yoshi use to be her fav but the kitten now runs and Bella things it’s a game to chase it. 

After our stop there, we headed home to see Daddy.  Bella got some great Daddy and Bella time, as Mommy went to town to meet up with some girlfriends for a movie night.  I was up way to late but it was great fun!

New Words: Ball, On, Off, no

Tonight she was able to eat with a fork on her own. Normally we have to help her scoop up her food on the fork, but tonight she did it all on her own.

She knows what a hair brush and tooth brush is and where you use each one.

She knows how to use a remote and take pictures with a cell phone or camera.

 

She is working on climbing up on more things…she can get up in the pews at church on her own and is trying to learn how to climb up into her high chair.

Loves to READ READ and READ!

Knows where her belly button, head, chest and toes are.

So I took these pictures on monday… Bella was not in the mood at all. But I got a couple shots I like. I need to get some in her holiday dresses yet.
