Kickin 4 a Cure

So Saturday we spent the day helping to raise money for CF research. A family that we have known for while has a couple big fundraisers a year. Bella is now friends and classmates with on the kids in the family  and Josh works with the dad. So josh was asked to play on one of the kick ball teams. they did a Kick Ball tournament. I think Josh’s team came in 4th out of 10. Max had a good time. Bella struggled with some bees that were around, so she spend some time with my mom before joining us again. IT was a really nice day and so nice to be outside having fun while raising money for a great cause.

Mouses and Playtime

Today after dropping Bella off at VBS, Max and I went to toddler tales at the library.  after that we picked up Josh and headed to Fennimore to pick up Bella. I had some pictures to take over to Great Grandma and Poppy, so we stopped there after we got Bella. The visit was a bit short as Max needed a nap and Josh had stuff he needed to do, but we squeezed in a visit to the Cheese factory for some fresh curds.

max took a long nap, and it was late, so after chores and supper, we came to town to let the kids play at the park while Josh mowed the grass at the Lancaster house.

So surprise, surprise, we ended up back in the watertown area this weekend. We went Friday night after Josh got done with chores, so we would have a full day on Saturday to work. Well I made plans with Nikki to hang out with the kiddos. We ended up just walking to the park by her house and the kids had a chance to run around outside and play.

After the park, We went back to my mom’s had lunch on the go and headed to the Lodge. Max feel asleep in the car, so Mom took the kids back to her house so Josh and I would be able to work  We managed to get our goal done, though.. water to the trailer house. We found out though that it’s probably not drinkable as it is.. Forgot our sample bottle to get it tested.. We went back to get the kids and get them in their jammies, thinking they would fall asleep in the car.. but naturally this time they didn’t.

Tuesday our highlight was our play date with our buddies Kate and Lisa.

Week of Sept 9th A week of everyone

So it seems like we spend the week seeing a lot of people. My  mom came down Monday and Tuesday to help out since Josh had an colonoscopy Tuesday morning.  Bella was let out of school early both Monday and Tuesday due to the heat and lack of A/C in the public schools. Thursday I went and took some items into Madison in hopes to sell them to make some extra money. Max and I did lunch with Diane while we were there. Max was not a fan of the car ride. So that was kind of stressful for me. then friday after bella got done with school we had a play date with a friend. The kids had a blast at the park and our time was too short. Hopefully longer next time. We also stopped by the great grandparents to say hi too!
