Wrap up September

So I'm gonna wrap up September since we are already 1/2 way through October.
This time of year gives pretty sunrises that we can actually see.  The kids like to think that Daddy is helping to paint such a wonderful picture in the sky

We went to Ebert's craft fair and opening of hte pumpkin patch...when it was 70 degrees out. So not very pumpkiny, but we made the best of it. We came home with pretty mums, big o' pumpkins and yummy treats.

So it's 80 plus and my kid needed to wear his winter hat.

Watching the packer game..where they won!!!!!

Carmel...is getting to be a spoiled little cow
We love the new gate Grandpa put in!
The newest creature at our place

Kickin for A Cure.. These two are so cute!

We found friends to play with!

We had the Kueffers over for a cookout. The kids had a blast playing to gether and hanging out. It was nice to sit back and catch up with Nikki and Josh.
I love being out in the country and being able to see the wonderful pictures inthe sky

birthday party X 2

On Friday we celebrated the twins turning three! totally crazy to think of them as that old already. The party was at the park so all the kids were running around. Hence my very few pictures.

Then Sunday we had this little guys first birthday.  Max was a cranky butt, so he stayed at my mom's..so just Bella and I went. We had a good time hanging out and celebrating

Then two pictures of my kiddos. I love my recess duty and being able to see my kids playing and hanging out.

Old World Wisconsin

So We have talked about going to Old World Wisconsin with the kids since we moved back to this side of the state. So it took 3 years to finally go. We manged to pick a great fall day. We went right after church and it wasn't busy at all. It would get warm in the sun but then we would take the tram and cool right off. They were starting to plow the fields for fall and Max loved seeing the old fashion plows and horses. There was also Oxen l working the fields too. The tram was great fun but we also got to ride on a horse drawn carriage. We saw a lot of old houses, barns and examples of our heritage.  We got to visit the one house school house and the kids loved it. Our finally stop after the gift shop, of course, we lunch/supper in the Round Barn. I had a yummy bison burger and everyone else had grilled cheese. They weren't as brave ;)
Hoping we can go again in another year or so..or maybe catch it this spring when they are planting :)

Tractor Pulls

So i have a co-worker who does tractor pulls. Ironically she was around when I went to tractor pulls as a small girl. Full circle I guess. So we wanted to go all summer, but naturally it didn't work until after we were back in school. We ended up in Darian going to the corn fest, which was pretty awesome by the way.
Finding the corn
This cooker was awesome!

Carmel apple sundae with bacon

Tractor pulls!

This little boy was in heaven!

His sister was a fan too
We came home and did a bonfire since it was a nice night.
Bella caught frogs, but clearly this one wasn't listening to her. :)

Back to School 2017

Tuesday Sept 5th arrived and it was time to head back to school. This year I had a FOURTH Grader and a KINDERGARTEN! How is that possible?
Lets see how the backpacks do this year. I scored one with Max's name on it for him this year.
This little boy might not have his daddy to take him to school but he was all daddy.. Carhatt shirt and jeans. The camo boots are all his idea, but he follows the idea of quite a few of his favorite farmers who wear boots.
This girl is getting so big.  She was so excite to head off to school
We did stop for donuts and ate them in my classroom before the bell rang.

First day of school classroom pictures

We did post school ice cream. Growing up my mom would always bake a special dessert. It's not possible for me to do that, so we decided ice cream at Wedl's was our tradition :)
 Then this happened!
A peek into kindergarten. A little rest time. I miss this little guy but so happy that i can see both him and his sister through out the day.
