So the craziness of the first week of school is over, but that didn’t mean we slowed down very much. We took a last minute trip to Watertown for a wedding, family and friends. IT was a very short visit but we sure squeezed in a lot! One of the biggest things was Bella got her first fish! it was a belated birthday gift, but seemed to come at a great time. She loves her fish named Charlie! It was an adventure to get him home though. He now lives on the kitchen Table and is fed twice a day by Bella. She would feed him every time she walked into the kitchen if we let her. LOL
Then we had dentist appointments for me and Bella. Ok Bella sat in the chair and refused to open her mouth. Oh well. we will try again in 6 months. I got a good check up though, other than finding out my wisdom teeth are finally coming in. UGH! The joy of knowing they will need to come out is not fun.
Then we did two days of rough drop offs at school, but still she had a good time while there. I can already see that she is learning so much more. I see it when we got to library for storytime. She’s much more willing to talk to the other kids and the librarian. She more active in the activities they do and no longer clinging to my side. She also tells us all about what she does at school and comes home singing songs she has learned!
Then last Thursday, Bella and I loaded up and headed to the east side of the state. We got to hang out with my sister and family. Bella had a blast playing soccer with Drew and Andy. Then Friday I left Bella with my sister and took my last single trip for along time up to the Mall of America. Ok I really didn’t take pictures up there, but I did spend enough and ate my way through! I went up with Tori and it was a great time! It was something that we don't seem to ever do.. hang out just the two of us.
We got back on Sunday and then I stay with Bella at my mom’s for another day. Monday JOsh joined us in Watertown and then just he and I went to look at some cows he would like to buy. After that it was back in the car to finally come home! It then took me the rest of the week to recover! Even Bella took a bit to get back into her normal routine!
